It fixes all the stupid memes thrown in for the sake of it and quality NISA writing. The first game is translated well enough from what I heard.

These games are pretty cute, I like the combat system. They are also complete grindfests sadly.
Ugh, seeing the normal writing kinda turns me off. :l

Nice addition, I got this on Steam some time back and at some point I was unable to proceed to forward levels. So then I stupidly attributed it to me not grinding and started grinding on older levels again and again. Finally, while going through something I stumbled on to the combo menu and recalled that all of them had their most basic attacks set. I felt so stupid then. :)

I tried something like this on the PS3 as a joke - it was horrible. Does the "reBirth" in the title mean it may not be the same game, just something on the same series?

The ReBirth games are remakes of previous titles with mechanics added in from later titles in the series.
