B1tF1ghter: Keep in mind tho that external server hosting the patch could be brought down at any moment in time and so GOG version could someday become non-uncensorable due to that.
Physical server infrastructure fails, mistakes happen, domain owners change, really a lot of things happen that could make the patch unreachable at really any point in time.
Too bad nobody invented a way to keep files locally without having to re-download them every time, some sort of offline backup, "offline installers" or something like that...
Thank you for releasing this here! Subverse next!
I cannot wait to play this. The first one was amazing.

B1tF1ghter: If it's allright in your view to buy a crippled version of the game and rely on EXTERNAL server then it's entirely your choice.

That's what backups are for. You know, the thing you normally do with your DRM-free games, so they are not lost when a server or a whole service is brought down. And there's absolutely no problem to backup the uncensor-patch filetogether with the installer.
Opened GOG, saw that it has finally been released, clicked buy ... it's been a while since I puchased that fast but I never forgot how much fun I had with the first game. Add to this that the dev did not use regional pricing and offeres an easy option to uncensor the game :)

Swiss sarcasm ... did not expect that ;)

Lone_Scout: I'll go for humble this time, I believe.
€0.08 cheaper (Yay!), DRM-Free and uncensored. It also comes with a useless steam key...
Just out of curiosity I wanted to look at the humble version as well ... and then I noticed that I can't find it there. Do you happen to have a link for the humblöe version? Could it be that the region locked the game ... same as Steam?

Try this, maybe it would work for you?

Huniepop 2 - Humble Store, DRM-Free and Uncensored

Top kuk! Itz region locked for realz!

I'm starting to see why gog would release a censored version then - though I would much prefer if they simply region locked it for Krauts (and any other regions where selling the uncut version would be a problem) and sold the uncensored version in the rest of the world (just like they do with pretty much every other game on the German index) - if Germans want to get the game, they could still do so through gifting.

Exactly what I expected ... so no humble for me and GOG it is because at least they did not block it completely (since there is the option of uncensoring I prefer this to blocking it completely) and if you ask me this uncensor patch will be shared like wildfire and if I should ever lose one of my copys I just will have to ask somebody here ... chances are that I'll die beforenot having access to the patch anymore :)

I prefer GOG's solution, make-believe censoring is better in my book that actual regional blocking.

+1, GOG. Not near enough to lift the boycott, but +1 for apparently being the only store to choose this route.

So once again, the rest of the world is suffering because of something Germany has done. Are they going for the all time record?

WinterSnowfall: My friend will now proceed to play the game. Or so I've heard.
My own friend will wait for a native Linux version ;)

---

About the "censorship" comments, I actually liked the first game better without the nudity patch. So Iʼm of course OK with GOG making this version the default one.
"Please note that this is a censored version of the game."

The game is marked with a PEGI 18 rating on the game card and still is censored on GOG?

As far as I can see there's an official un-censor patch. At least this patch should be delivered by GOG and added as an extra to the game. Having to download it from a separate source to get the full game is very user unfriendly.

And of course, no Linux version for the game also is disappointing.

Personally, I wish there wouldn't be any porn games on Steam, if only not to have to scroll down between 5 and 10 daily porn game releases. Make a seperate Steam store for those.
