A whiter shade of pain.

Human: Fall Flat, a hilarious physics/puzzle game about trying to prevent your dreams from falling flat, is available now for Windows, Mac, and Linux, DRM-free on GOG.com, with a 20% launch discount.

We've all had our sleep cut short because of a dream scenario that ended with us falling to our doom from an unhealthy height. But what if we could stay there awhile, trying to prevent it using our wits and physics-savvy alone? Bob has that opportunity but he needs your guidance, as he's trying to come up with creative solutions to the cunning puzzles that fill these 8 minimalistic dreamscapes. Either by himself or with the help of a friend in co-op, he will climb on anything scalable, carry everything that's not bolted down, smash walls, and cause a physics-induced mess with his resourcefulness and his self-destructive determination. Don't worry about falling, worry about how to make your fall count.

Experiment with inventive solutions in the physics-abiding dreamscapes of Human: Fall Flat, DRM-free on GOG.com.
The 20% discount will last until November 1st, 2:59 PM UTC.

Looks really cool, I'm glad to see this here. Hopefully the upcoming editor will make it to the GOG version, but honestly I'm pessimistic about such things lately.
I vigorously giggled in my cubicle through that video introducing us to the game. I wonder if anyone noticed...

I really look forward to playing it someday! It would be a great Christmas-Break game for me! (Whishlisted for now: not as a judgement of the game's worth, but of my own ability to fund the purchase and lack of time to play it)

Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this game to us here!
Damn -- I thought it said Hitman. Stupid smartphones with tiny screens. :P As for Human: Fall Flat, well, that toothpaste protagonist looks cute! I'll check it out later, on a bigger screen.

You know I'm not good with heights!

xD

*wishlist*
Looks fun.

muntdefems: Yep, I saw that reply. And I agree it hints at the devs not really caring about GOG, but that doesn't seem like a reason to un-wishlist the game. I only commented in case Tyrrhia or David9855 had thought that Esli person's lunatic comments and attitudes were those of the actual devs.
While they weren't, the actual dev didn't seem bothered by them either.

Do tell, which game is Hitman: Fall Flat?

Hmm, you're right. I thought it was one of the developers; instead, it seems to be a really bad PR guy hired by the developers.

So, I might reconsider it . . . but apparently, support for Steam Workshop is being implemented, and we all know what that usually means for GOG titles. Time will tell.
Porrasturvat: Game of The Year Edition :-)

Oh, last 3 Hitmans I would gladly see here :)

Yeah... I don't think I'll be getting it myself either. Unless it's heavily discounted, of course. :P

Grargar: Yogsloth? Is that you?
Is it low-res "retro" pixel art?

Is it procedurally generated?

Is it permadeath?

Is it billing how frustrating and aggravatingly difficult it is as a selling point?

Is it, in short, a half-assed, half-baked piece of shit?

Nah, this actually looks interesting. Goat simulator type? Weird. Might be worth picking up!

Well, the story goes like this: "At first i saw "Hitman" and nearly jumped, then read "Fall Flat" and wondered if it was a Hitman title i missed and got back to the "Hitman" that i read in the beginning but it wasn't "Hitman" anymore because "Human" got its place. So basically it's been "Human" all the time but somehow my unconscious did som..." --Do you follow?

An insta-buy for sure, but considering how long it's been since Square Enix released a game here, don't hold your breath...

Exactly, I've seen that person on the steam forums too and if that's the kind of person qualified to be a community manager then I have zero faith in the developer. Well, that and the hitching that happened whenever I reached the top of platforms, that would often cause me to fall off, that didn't happen in the "early" version.

You can see that happening in this video (I was pretty annoyed at the time for obvious reasons, also spoiler warning I guess)

This is all great and fine, but all you are complaining about happened several month ago (on itch.io). Is there anything you could tell us about the GOG version? Your problem with that Esli guy was 4 month ago, not like your screenshot said just 2 days. That guy is a paid for forum troll (aka works for nobrakesgames but has actually nothing to say about the development process or the game). So arguing about game quality based on that guy doesn't make any sense.

Yeah game bugs are something special. Never heard of any bugs in any games before.

I do, but I was hoping for a more fun narrative... oh well.
Interesting title here on GoG. Heard about it a while back to be some kind of physics based platormer thing resambling Goat Simulator in some cases but never really got into buy it. Will wait for Moveber Sale or Winter Sale to see it at a better discount.
