Tiny Bang Story, Morphopolis, plus the Enigmatis and Nightmares from the Deep trilogies.

Who doesn't love the look of a messy room, devilishly concealing all the important items when you need them the most? That guilty pleasure of rummaging around for your car keys, wallet, or that grotesque ivory ornament which unlocks the secrets to the family curse, is what Hidden Object Games are all about!
We kick off their arrival on GOG.COM with a fine selection that was hiding in plain sight and some purty 70% discounts until August 10th, 1pm UTC.

Tiny Bang Story takes place on a lovely planet thrown into disarray after an unfortunate clash with a total jerk of a meteor. Help fix it by solving quirky puzzles and scouring hand-drawn screens for objects of interest.

The Enigmatis trilogy begins on the spooky streets of Maple Creek, a place overflowing with secrets, tragedy, and hidden knickknacks! Disoriented and confused after being hit by a furious storm, you must steel your nerves and stay focused on finding that missing girl.

Morphopolis is an evocative puzzle adventure set in an almost-psychedelic forest undergrowth full of curious insects. Gorgeous exploration and fascinating discoveries await.

Ghost ships, doomed romance, pirate treasure, and items in need of finding make up the Nightmares from the Deep trilogy, a chilling tale straight from Davy Jones' locker.

docbear1975: I, for one, am glad to see HOGs on GOG. They can be quite fun, with an interesting story. I'll have to wishlist these titles until I can find some money. (Starts looking under couch cushions).
In HOGS you find an old useless coin which allows you to use it to remove the screws from a small air vent , once open you might find some valuables you can seel to get the cash to buy games.

maybe they are , dont have android or mobile to play games only old mobile to phone home.the HOGS are playable with a mouse, and there will always be cheaper games, steam seels some at 89 cents ( older games)
but then again Steam is 89% ( or more ) drm cause they need the steam client to run the game ( game checks for steam)
Anywya I bought the games here at GOG, now i have these games 3 times :D

high rated
Oh god, I just hope they're clearly distinguished from adventure games. There's nothing more disappointing to me than a HOG pretending to be a PnC adventure.
Not a genre of my liking, but that's good news anyway.

That's not what I said at all. Maybe you should have quoted what I said and you would have noticed. I don't know if HOGs are available or usually played on mobiles or not and I don't even care. All I said is that people should stop considering certain games or genres as bad and unwanted for everybody just because they don't like them.

I agree. Thats where Steam is just bad. They block the anime games from appearing on the store front just to not annoy a group. Everyone likes something different, companies just need to grow a pair.....(Refrains from entering anymore.)

Also this reminds me of another comment you made in another thread, i'll just say I upvoted you and totally agreed with you on that. I don't want to cross the line but you made sense.

Artifex Mundi's games are excellent HOGs, everyone should try at least one of those and give the genre a try.

Lifthrasil: Nice. Another genre that I can ignore completely (like sports games and RTS).
Yeah, because GOG has such a plethora of them. =P

yukiai01: I do not trust people wich do not like cheese. It's like bleeding for five days and not dying, No trust at all. :)

I do realize it's probably a joke, but you're essentially saying you don't trust any woman who's yet to hit menopause. XD

To GOG: Thank you for being open enough to add a new genre to your store. :)

I'm still waiting for the WWF/WWE games to appear GOG :P

(There's about as much chance of them as there is NOLF!)

WWF and WWE? World War Five and World War Eight?

World Wresting Federation (till they got sued from the World Wildlife Fund and lost, then they changed to WWE) WWE is World Wrestling Entertainment, but they then scrapped that and got the rights to just WWE. So now offically when talking about the company WWE means nothing.

Also i'm are they changed to WWFE, etc but didn't feel a whole name change history was needed.)

The chances of getting older wrestling games are close to null as they contain wrestlers who have died , left wwe , fired from wwe and not to mention licensed soundtracks used plus console exclusives till 2k14....

The modern releases aka the ones 2k released after getting the rights could come here aka wwe 2k15 onward but they shutdown the servers after ever year ....

Pond86: World Wresting Federation...
You may have missed the silent "/s"... at least I hope that's the case.
