Tiny Bang Story, Morphopolis, plus the Enigmatis and Nightmares from the Deep trilogies.

Who doesn't love the look of a messy room, devilishly concealing all the important items when you need them the most? That guilty pleasure of rummaging around for your car keys, wallet, or that grotesque ivory ornament which unlocks the secrets to the family curse, is what Hidden Object Games are all about!
We kick off their arrival on GOG.COM with a fine selection that was hiding in plain sight and some purty 70% discounts until August 10th, 1pm UTC.

Tiny Bang Story takes place on a lovely planet thrown into disarray after an unfortunate clash with a total jerk of a meteor. Help fix it by solving quirky puzzles and scouring hand-drawn screens for objects of interest.

The Enigmatis trilogy begins on the spooky streets of Maple Creek, a place overflowing with secrets, tragedy, and hidden knickknacks! Disoriented and confused after being hit by a furious storm, you must steel your nerves and stay focused on finding that missing girl.

Morphopolis is an evocative puzzle adventure set in an almost-psychedelic forest undergrowth full of curious insects. Gorgeous exploration and fascinating discoveries await.

Ghost ships, doomed romance, pirate treasure, and items in need of finding make up the Nightmares from the Deep trilogy, a chilling tale straight from Davy Jones' locker.
Oh. Joy.

I'm a huge fan of playing hidden object games and am therefore very glad to see this genre arriving on gog. I don't know any of these titles, though, but I am certainly going to look into it right now!

These do not necessarily have the best review scores, but the launch prices are good, so I'll probably pick up a couple. I am now hoping for the arrival of Nancy Drew, Mystery Case Files, etc.

My mother will be very happy (if the games come in German).

They do, except Morphopolis. :)
Tiny Bang Story is a nice little one I played on my phone. Looks lovely and good set of not too complex puzzle make for quite a relaxing experience.

I also played a set of Artifex Mundi games (either on the phone or on PC) and while the "scenario" tends to be a little bit samey through their different games, these are quality games for those searching (no pun intended) for hidden object games.

In the end, always happy to see a new genre coming on GOG's shore (still no luck about non-licensed sports games? ;) ) and I know someone in the forum who will be quite happy (yes, I look at you gamesfreak64).

P.S.: No chances to have the achievements available for Galaxy players?

Very well! :)
NOOOOOOoooooOOOOooooOOoooooeuuuuOOOOoooooüüüühaaa

Now that is one creepy shovelware-ridden genre. One freaky pandora box kicked open. But to be fair, there are a few cool games in there ("Hidden folks", the original "Huntsville / Mystery Case Files", the "Travelogue" ones, and, yeah, I just bought "Morphopolis" on steam a few days ago). But damn, that will be some heavy load on gogs curator's shoulders.

And now we're gonna be spammed with these crappy interactive picture "games", had enough of this on Steam and now GOG's taking its turn.

RIP decency and standards.

Nice! Not my cup of tea but not a bad step to one stop shop.

Next up, solitaire "enhanced" season pass edition.
I mean, some of these games are good right?
Admittedly, I have no interest in them...
I'll keep my hopes up that GOG doesn't start filling this place up with mediocre games.
