I usually hate menagerial games, but this immediately made me think of Terry Pratchett's Eric and Astfgl's modern, orderly managed Hell. I'll give the demo/prologue a shot.

Totally doesn't look like Oxygen not included ripoff.
low rated
So after porn games we now get torture porn games?
It's really interesting how people who like eroge games and games with sexual content get slandered as gross weebs, yet games sanctioning some of the most disturbing imagery and torture (even if pixelated or cartoony), are released with fewer people complaining about them being gross or disturbing. That makes me feel very uneasy.

At least no one gets physically hurt, tortured, or killed in games with sexual content (unless it's a game like Euphoria, which is the minority; screw that game).

Presentation matters. I'd rather try to be helping people through building relationships or pretending to be the hero, or finding ways to have them find redemption (even if it's just a very slim chance of happening). A slight chance of redemption would be better than an infinity getting tortured, especially since the people just spent a mortal life being sinners.

Also, per many bible thumpers, LGBTQIA+ people are sinners. So is the player eviscerating and torturing the LGBTQIA+ people when they did nothing wrong? Do we get report cards on what they did wrong? I have a feeling you're just torturing to torture. Lovely thought.

Time for me to go play a carebear game to cleanse my mind.
The demo did not sell me on the game. If you want this type of game play, get Craft the World. If you want this kind of "theme", get Dungeons 2 or 3.

Notes easily fixed:
* No option for windowed mode not to capture/lock cursor.
* Only WASD, not arrows, for screen panning. (Well, also middle click or edge scroll, but you know what I mean.
* Poor default sound mixing. (And even with dialogs way up and music down a bit.)

Tutorial had bugs in its process. Small ones but still did.

But the game play is... Craft the World just not as good.

I wonder if it's made by the same developer. Even though the artwork in this one is much more simpler.

My guess most of the complainers came from (US) Americans (no offense to you). I mean they have shows that pretty much show death and gore and there's no outrage. But a retired porn star became a teacher caused so much controversy or Janet Jackson nip reveal got her banned from TV appearance. Even though the country is the numero uno in creating the most porn vids in the world and pioneer in gentlemen magazine with the iconic rabbit logo.

Oh so much hypocrisy.

I guess you never play Dungeon Keeper 1 and 2?

Wow. Someone's got a chip on their shoulder...
Okay, but why settle for just Hell?

Also yeah, this just looks like a suffering version of Oxygen Not Included.

And while I won't give kudos to other posts here, but there is more than just the Evangelical Christain, fire and brimstone lake of fire kind of hell.

As many have oft quipped and joked, what's so bad about this hell when you get over the fire? How about dangling by your head encased in a thin layer of ice over a pit? You know, like Cocytus?

I keep forgetting that I want to buy this game. This game is never going on sale.

No key rebinds calls only for an eternity in hell for the devs!

Well, I played the demo back in the days. But I can't remember something like this
or this . Also, afaik, you defend your little dungeon against the heroes in DK, while this game seems just to be about torturing.

Oh please, they're not that different. You just defend Dungeon Keeper because of nostalgia value. It still has torture. So do Evil Genius, so do Duke Nukem games (and it's even worse), so do classic shadow warrior, so do (insert every old games with tortures in their game).

Also bruh, we got violent video games aplenty. We turn demons into pile of meat in Doom, we got game called BLOOD and it's filling its promise well. Amiga's Capital Punishment has a topless woman in bondage gear and you put enemy on spikes. Or Amiga's Barbarian where you can decapitate people. Or how about Isaac getting his eyes drilled in Dead Space?

I guess you only picking on this game for outrage value and small indie developer can't fight back.
