Headquarters: World War 2 is a fast-paced turn-based strategy game where your battlefield tactics are as important as your army management skills – and it’s now available on GOG, with a -10% launch discount until April 18th, 5:00 PM UTC!
!

The game covers the Battle of Normandy in the three plot-driven campaigns and a number of skirmishes. Choose your side, form your force, assign heroes, level up your units, and use Headquarters skills to overcome the enemy.

Now on GOG!
Forget Broken Roads, this is today's release!

Now waiting for it to be actually available...

Now available. I'm still waiting for the Complete Edition (even cheaper than the standard game from a competitor!)

Been waiting for this!
Yay! was waiting for this!
"fast paced turn-based strategy "

Oh, that oxymoronic phrase again.

"Easy to learn, hard to master"

Oh, that phrase again.

Game advertising always repeats the same sentences ;)
After playing the game for a little bit, I'm getting a strategic mind vibe with the gameplay. The game looks and runs great on my PC, which is surprising for Slitherine Ltd.

Edit: I had no idea this was made by the same developers as Strategic Mind. I love those games. Also, does the main menu look a lot like the COH1 menu?

YES!
Watching the tutorial here, and I like it so far.

Very cool system for reaction attacks, it sounds cool!
3 uses that should last for both overwatch and return fire, during enemy turn.
But you get less reaction attacks for each attack you did yourself during your turn, and also subtract one for each time the unit is attacked.
So you can sort of disable an enemy unit by bombing it a few times from a distance, and then finish it off with some infantry nearby, knowing the enemy can neither overwatch or return any fire!

Also the game seems to have three levels of cover, and the units have height, so infantry (low unit) can hide behind anything, while a large tank can only hide behind a high cover!

GOG.com: Release: Headquarters: World War 2
If the trailer wasn't around, and going by the screenshots alone, I would've thought, this was a "tanks only" game.
Thank you, GOG!!
Here, the game is 10% discounted.
Steam has the very same game 18% discounted, including the soundtrack. We, here, we don't even have the soundtrack. Come on...
Second class citizens from the beginning. Thank you GOG!!
