A fistful of vengeance.

GUN™, a gun-trotting action/adventure in the wild West, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com.

There is something about the Old West that keeps fascinating us. The dusty towns, the gold rush, the dames of questionable moral fiber, the bullet-ridden saloons, the twitchy duels, the tobacco-chewing villains - they blur the line between history and fantasy in a particularly alluring fashion.
GUN is about breathing in all these things as Colton White and also engaging in bounty-collection missions, poker matches, buffalo hunts, train robberies, horseback shootouts, and just about everything that an open-world adventure has to offer to a daring gunslinger such as yourself. Just remember that sometimes the stealthy, more cunning approach is preferable to direct violence, even against the lowlifes that have wronged you.

Enter the vast, opportunistic land of the Wild West and dish out justice with your GUN™ in hand, DRM-free on GOG.com.

I remember beating this on the original Xbox. This is a fantastic release! :D
Too pricey, sorry.
Does it still have the 30fps lock, and better widescreen support?

Hey! It doesn't look like my kind of game! ;P
It's an alright game BTW, not a great game.

would've been nice to mention that you can't buy it with a German IP - thanks to the banning from open sale in Germany some 10 years ago....

Yeah I just saw. I'd give 10 if I was generous. But I'll wait for it to hit 5.

Great release. Price a bit steep though (to be expected from Activision) . On the wishlist it goes.
Aaaaaand Jerries score another region lock! Congratulations, good show!

Loved this game, 10/10, will instabuy when the price drops to a less preposterous level. ;)

There was a platoon of Nazis in the western "Blazing Saddles" but that was meant to be a joke. I had no idea there really were Nazis in the old west. ;P
LOL at the trademarking of "Gun" :o) But hey at least they didn't bullied other game titles with "gun" in their titles since 2005

Anyway, I remember this game when it was out on the first Xbox and wanted to play it so I guess I'll give it a try someday. Wishlisted.
That's a damn good game, but it's too expensive imho - half the price and it would be great. I've replayed it recently and even if it's relatively short, it will stay in your memory for sure. Great characters, a open world and many quests. And the soundtrack is phenomenal. I'll grab it here when it's at least 50 %.
I stupidly tried to play a speedrun years ago on Xbox 360, but I missed some side quests and my character was too weak to beat a boss. Not the best way to play it, but it was a fun Wild West game in my memory with some gory stuff (to scalp your foes...).

Edit : That price hurts my eyes O_o

Great game, but wow that pricing. I paid less than that in 2007.
Great release! Already own it on Steam, 15 euros there but it's worth to pay little more for DRM-free copy. Wishlisted for now (until the next sale).
How large is this game? As large as GTA Vice city or something?
