Wow, the concept of the game is quite intriguing, also great to see native Linux support.
Nice. Saw this on Steam a long while ago and wishlisted it. Would much prefer a GOG version.
I really like the look of the medieval scenes. They could pass for a classic mid-90s point-and-click.

On the other hand, the futuristic scenes don't look so detailed. They remind me of the indie/one-man games from the early 2010s. Perhaps we just need more screenshots/videos to judge the graphics better.

Has anyone played it? Any comments on the "Streamlined inventory and puzzle design"?

Bought & played on release (so no sale for you GOG, choices and consequences).

Very easy, but very well done & oozes charm. Not sure I would recommend it at full price as I'm a puzzle-oriented guy, but with this discount go for it.

For people who do cost/time calculations, Steam says I played for six hours.
I thought it's that game:

same here i wishlisted it and bought it during the Steam summersale it was pretty cheap, i just wanted to check if it would run without Steam :D, seems a number of games do run without Steam like Artifex Mundi games, that is why i buy them at release as long as they keep running without steam needed cause i still don't like DRM :D
Anyway i just bought it here :D
The "medieval" setting reminds me of Simon the Sorceror, and that's not necessarily a plus. The modern/futuristic setting might be a twist but the two per se seem still generic. I would have liked more the art style of the game page cover.
Can you wait until you click before the next line of text appears? Or pause during dialogues and read with ease?

Game looks okay, i watched some videos on youtube.

The only thing i am missing is ta way to turn of the music , 99.99 % of all games i own and played had music turned off, and this music is a loud one but can't be turned off, when i click the large button on the menu the image changes to only speech bubble but i still hear the music. Sliders don't seem to turn off either audio or speech , usually you have a slider to turn off/lower the music, background sounds (if any are used) and speech.

Anyway it's a nice game and the lack of a slider to turn off the music is one small minus.

I always turn off the music in adventure games so that would be quite annoying, that you for letting me know.

I mostly play adventure games to learn German nowadays, this one is not so appealing to me but if I could listen to the English and read the German translation with calm then I could pretend I'm studying while playing ;) Now I'm having a hard time with Dishonored, that's all in German (voice and subs) and pretty fast and honestly I'm missing out some stuff but OK XD
