Memories of 3D platformers on the PSX come flooding back, and there's a Linux build too, yay!...

Yea this looks pretty great.
I like that it's also stages as opposed to open world.

I like the increase in PSX style graphics like the Bloodbourne demake and this.
Well, instabought and going in blind because I feel like it.
Nice! Congrats on the release! Kinda strange it's available for Linux, but not also for Mac, though. Will it be available soon?

This does remind me of those cute arcade games of the past. For some Mario Bros pops into mind, looking at the gameplay trailer.
.
EDIT:
I just noticed that the manual is only included in the Deluxe edition according to the game store page. That makes no sense lol, hope it's just a mistake.

Got some Gex 2 flashbacks.
high rated
May I ask, why the manual is not part of the standard edition?

Y'all can vote on PsiloSybil here!!
Like OPlays22 said, is the manual an extra?

Like, you have to get the deluxe edition to get the manual? Doesn't that seem, I dunno, kind of silly?

I am seeing this right, right?

"7 Page Retro-Style Manual"

Sounds rather like a gimmick, so probably not part of the normal version. It's funny though, now we are starting to pay for a (digital) standalone manual. :D

Game looks good though. Will buy sometime down the road.
While having the same full price on Steam and GOG, Steam has 20% off and GOG said 15% in the announcement
and 14% on the product page (and calculated -14.4%) ...
Maybe someone knowing numbers should take care for the discrepancies ... and should ask devs about
the correct values ... that should typically be the same price (even on sale) on all plattforms.

Additionally, GOG lists Co-op while steam list (shared/split screen) PvP - and the feature:
"Unlockable 2-player duel arenas to challenge your friends!" hints clearly to non-Co-op and PvP-only!

Someone mentioned last week that GOG does not want high release discounts, so it might be deliberate.

So, GOG does not like to have customers? That would explain a lot.
But I am still not believe this ...
Higher price with typically less features ... that would be commercial suicide ...

I think with such tactics, giving Co-op instead of the correct PvP and additionally selling a manual (7 pp)
and art book (50 pp) for such a price, it will sit on my wishlist for a long while.
And at least in part this is also a fault of the devs - at least a lack of care.
Reminds me of Gurumin, with the 3rd person 3D platforming, female protagonist, and the fact that you can get hats.

(By the way, for anyone who was on the fence about Gurumin, I note that the critical bug in the GOG version that would crash the game after the ending (but before the clear save) has been fixed for a while now, so the game no longer has any major bugs.)
