FOX n FORESTS is a 16-bit style action platformer with RPG elements! Switch seasons on the fly and wield your crossbow to unveil the mystery of the 5th season.

Now on GOG!
Oh hey, it's this title that was nearly the frontliner for the Amico scam console.

It even earned an ugly new artstyle on that platform.
Hopefully this title will be able to stand on its own merit rather than being associated with the Amico.
Always thought the Finnegan Fox rename for the Amico was weird. Not sure what they were trying to accomplish with that at all.

Only reasons I can think of is to give the impression the system had more exclusive games as you would not get fox and forest in a basic search, or so they could spin it off and make there own sequels without acquiring the original IP.

Yeah, definitely agree with that.

Seems dishonest to take a game and give it an artwork overhaul as well as a name change just to push it as an exclusive. Then again it is the Amico we are talking about... What about that whole debacle didn't seem either shady or downright scummy?
No idea what Amico is, but the game looks shrugtastic.

Basically imagine "The Producers" (Intentionally producing something bad to claim insurance on it), but instead of it going horribly right, it went horribly, hilariously wrong. Featuring the best Has Beens and Washups of the games industry, including a man who probably never composed a single original composition, Tommy Tallarico.
Great addition to the GOG catalogue. Completed the game on Switch and it was neat. Played the PC version today and it is practically identical.
Oh nice, I had all but given up hope of seeing this here. I added the wishlist entry for this like 7 years ago.

Galaxy achievements are lacking as usual, today's relases are terrible.

I don't need a little icon popping up on an online client to tell me when I can feel satisfied so I would say these are great releases.

Of course, NO unlockable pictures that were attached to a third party client as an afterthought (serve as nothing more then telemetry for developers and are a nuisance for offline installer users) = terrible games. Makes total sense.

GOG.com: ... unveil the mystery of the 5th season.
Like the 13-th zodiac?
Forum could help, certainly.
If they stop playing games.
Seasons after fall much ?
