Salvaging the future.

Forsaken Remastered is now available DRM-free on GOG.COM, 10% off until August 8th, 8am UTC
The cult, futuristic 3D shooter of relentless action returns! Ride your hoverbike and blast the enemy scavengers with a devastating arsenal of primary and secondary weapons and a 360-degree range of freedom. This Remaster features anti-aliasing, ambient occlusion and motion blur effects, a slicker display HUD, unique levels and enemies previously available only in the N64 version, and several other improvements.
I didn't know how much I wanted this until I read this announcement.

Time to get into some multiplayer action.
Never heard about this one. Seems good!
I don´t get why Nightdive doesn´t hire some texture artists to give their remasters native Highres-Texturepacks as well, but despite that it just looks like awesome work.
Precisely, HIghres texturepack would be awesome but even then - instabuy.

Here´s hoping that their System Shock remake would be of a good quality as well :)
Seeing old games being restored makes me happy. Thank you GOG and Nightdive Studios!

Enebias: Never heard about this one.
This is the kind of game that came along with 3D graphics cards back in the late 90s, so you could immediately get to enjoy the prowess of then-current-gen-technology.

Reminds me of the days of good ol' 3dfx Voodoo...

Man you just reminded me of my first real 3D graphics card, the 3Dfx Voodoo Banshee (which had replaced my Diamond Stealth 3D 2000). Those were the days.
Good old times. Forsaken was the first game I played with 3dfx Voodoo card. It was a great game then, lets hope it still is. Instabuy! :)
Hmm, is this going to be only release for my birthday or is GOG planing something else? Can't wait to find out!

This was the 1st game I played on my Rendition Verite 2100 - I was too poor to afford a 3DFX :(
I remember having a lot of fun with Forsaken 64, I will probably pick this up at some point.
Very cool - did not expect this one. I remember this being one of the early games I had on a voodoo graphics card way back when. The glowing lighting coming off everything looked so amazing at the time on those early 3D cards. Was a great game too, not just one for showing off the early 3DFX.
Wonderful release guys.Keep reviving those old gems.Never stop, please. Many thanks to Nightdive and GOG ;).Cheers

Well they did release this one earlier than usual. Maybe we'll get some releases from a big publisher like 2K with the BioShock trilogy or Ubisoft with the Assassin's Creed II Ezio trilogy.
