Your post-apocalyptic playground.

UPDATE: The game comes with full Cloud saving support, exclusively on GOG Galaxy.

<span class="bold">Fallout 3 GOTY</span>, a post-apocalyptic action/RPG of ridiculous scale, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.

History as we know it got rebooted in 2077. As soon as you step outside Vault 101 and into the Capital Wasteland, you realise this world is overflowing with opportunity as it is with radiation. Who will you be, in this poisoned land? A curious adventurer, a mischievous scavenger, a heroic savior, or a terrible thug? No matter your path, the intuitive V.A.T.S. combat and the ever-present customization will make it a memorable one.

Want to dip your toes into the game's vast modding scene? Check out our <span class="bold">Mod Spotlight</span>.

Pond86: I'm assuming that seeing as you guys got the Oblivion Script Extender updated, the Fallout 3 & NV Script Extenders also have been updated so they work with the GOG versions?
avatar
Venita: FOSE and NVSE worked already, so there was no need to update them.
I didn't know that. Thanks for the quick reply.

DrearierSpider: Hopefully the GFWL remnants left over in the Steam version have been completely gutted, too.
avatar
Venita: There's a button in the main menu that... does absolutely nothing. :P
Ya, that type of stuff is fine. I don't expect menu alterations for a simple re-release. My issue was more of having to install a mod to work around having to use that awful piece of crap.

https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Fallout_3#Play_without_Games_for_Windows_-_LIVE

That said, the page already says "All non-GOG versions require Games for Windows - LIVE DRM." That answers that I suppose.
Yay! They're finally here!

*Scrounges around the couch for coins*
Ooooooh! Looks like I'm going to be spending money today! Well played, GOG, well played.
It's not Fallout 1 or 2, but it's an awesome game nonetheless. The expansions are great too! See you at Megaton, but please, don't press *that* button...! ;)
Great releases.. but like TES, there are too many Fallouts to choose O_o

Wow! After all these years, FO3 and Oblivion finally make it to GOG!
Wishlisted all 3.
Thank you GOG for bringing these modern classics here.

Johnathanamz: Please a gog.com employee tell me that the multi core problems and crashes are fixed in the gog.com version of Fallout 3 before I purchase Fallout 3.

I can make it work in a .ini tweak, but I'd prefer to always have it work right after I finish installing it.

If gog.com you made it work right out of the box thank you very much.

Lin545: Purchase and then play either Tale of Two Wastelands or Soul of Fallen Worlds.
Edit: to clear things up, both use FNV (updated) engine on F3 data.
I know I've been using that mod for a few years now.

Sometimes I just wish to play Fallout 3 by itself not in Fallout: New Vegas.
Instabought all three as well.

On a side note, these three Bethesda games bring GOG to 2001 DRM Free releases (according to the store page).

I wish I could get the new versions of Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics to be marked as owned since I already have the classic versions.
Please, anyone that has windows 10 and Nvidia Geforce (and already got the GOG version of this game) tell me if this game works well for you.
I heard the steam version doesn't work on OS after win 7
P.S. and mention if you found any bugs

My wallet can no longer suffer the notions of these fine releases.

I may get a chance tonight. No promises though.

That's a bit of a tall order since it was only released just hours ago and it's a big game.

tburger: Cool....I was thinking to buy a PS3 version of those games but it seems I'll update my plans...
All of Bethesda's releases on PS3 were notoriously awful ports, avoid them at all costs.
Part of me is like: Woohoo!

Another part is like: About f***ing time. What took so long?

Anyway... Glad to have them DRM-free on GOG. Bought. :)
