Your post-apocalyptic playground.

UPDATE: The game comes with full Cloud saving support, exclusively on GOG Galaxy.

Fallout 3 GOTY, a post-apocalyptic action/RPG of ridiculous scale, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.

History as we know it got rebooted in 2077. As soon as you step outside Vault 101 and into the Capital Wasteland, you realise this world is overflowing with opportunity as it is with radiation. Who will you be, in this poisoned land? A curious adventurer, a mischievous scavenger, a heroic savior, or a terrible thug? No matter your path, the intuitive V.A.T.S. combat and the ever-present customization will make it a memorable one.

Want to dip your toes into the game's vast modding scene? Check out our Mod Spotlight.

Silverhawk170485: The question is, if the german versions of both games are the cut USK versions or the uncut PEGI versions. :/
Both of them ought to be uncut. If I remember correctly, New Vegas got approved uncut by the USK straight away, while the uncut FO3 was indexed for a while, but Bethesda requested it being stricken from the list and the BPJM complied.

I bought both, so I can check it out whether FO3 has any obvious cuts later.
Does this work with Windows 7 and up, unlike the Steam version?
Time for mark this wishlist as completed!
Hopefully the GFWL remnants left over in the Steam version have been completely gutted, too.

Smannesman: 50% off?
Really?
I'll wait for Connect or a much better deal.
You'll probably never see any Bethesda, Activision or EA game go on connect, unfortunately.

There's a button in the main menu that... does absolutely nothing. :P

-Flails arms uncontrollably-
YES!! Oblivion, FO3, AND FO:NV? I was losing hope it'd ever escape CEG.

Wow very nice release! I remember being disappointed with the small worldsize the first time I opened F3's map, only to later realise that it really is deceptively large. First time I played the game I even managed to completely missed two pretty large areas, even though I tried to do all of the side quests.
The only thing I want for this game is a mod/hack that reduced XP gain by almost half. I maxed out my char's level long before the end of the game. Not sure if a higher difficulty might help for that though.

Thanks. But I'm bought them anyway too. I was an instantbuy with no thoughts about that at that moment. xD

You guys couldn't get Bethesda Game Studios or yourselves to remove Games for Windows Live (GFWL) at the source code level?

Also my question to Thiev seems to not of gotten a response, but the .ini tweaks included means I don't have to tweak the .ini myself correct? I can just install and launch and play Fallout 3 correct? I don't have to worry about multi core problems?

Have you combed the Nexus mod site lately? FO3's been around so long that somebody's had to have had the same idea as you.

Multi-core issues should be solved. You may want to further tweak INI file to tailor it closer to your hardware specs.

I know, but I can always hope GOG even contacts them about the possibility.

Ok I'm satisfied with this answer.

Thank you very much! Much appreciated.

Johnathanamz: Please a gog.com employee tell me that the multi core problems and crashes are fixed in the gog.com version of Fallout 3 before I purchase Fallout 3.

I can make it work in a .ini tweak, but I'd prefer to always have it work right after I finish installing it.

If gog.com you made it work right out of the box thank you very much.

Good!

At that price I will not buy it now that I know how to get my disc version to work. Already having spent a personal record amount of €76 on this game, I am not paying three times more than Steam charges for a GOG copy too, so sorry.

This game is rather different from the first three games (1, 2 & Tactics) but if it is your cup of tea, not bad at all. The FPS mechanics are not terribly good and better seen as a backup to V.A.T.S.
