Your post-apocalyptic playground.

UPDATE: The game comes with full Cloud saving support, exclusively on GOG Galaxy.

Fallout 3 GOTY, a post-apocalyptic action/RPG of ridiculous scale, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.

History as we know it got rebooted in 2077. As soon as you step outside Vault 101 and into the Capital Wasteland, you realise this world is overflowing with opportunity as it is with radiation. Who will you be, in this poisoned land? A curious adventurer, a mischievous scavenger, a heroic savior, or a terrible thug? No matter your path, the intuitive V.A.T.S. combat and the ever-present customization will make it a memorable one.

Want to dip your toes into the game's vast modding scene? Check out our Mod Spotlight.

Thanks Bethesda & GOG!

notxlated: If I recall correctly the game used to crash on multple cores until you've disabled it in a config. Any experiences with that?
Quad-core, no issues so far.

Yup, checked the ini file. Everything's fine.

Intel GPU chipset are officially not supported. You might try a fan-made bypass, but at your own risk:

Oh, my!!! I just started a new game of this with my store copy yesterday and am already sitting at 12 hours played. Will probably get these when they're on sale, since I have all of these on disc - Oblivion 3 times, I think...

Ah. Is the same true of New Vegas?
And if so does that mean I could get a refund if they don't work?

I've not downloaded either yet so could still get a refund the normal way, but I won't even try if downloading them if they're not likely to work and I couldn't get a refund...

darthspudius: Wow the reviews for the game are just pathetic. Fallout fans clearly need to grow up... and that's coming form someone with my immaturity.
Day gets even weirder. You made a post I 100% agree with :P

But since I love all the first 3 Fallouts (NV & FO4 not played yet) I must be a weirdo anyway according to the net.

yota71: usally all GOG releases work fine on the lastest OS, i have The Witcher and it work fine with windows 10

011284mm: You are right, but people should always be asking. Majesty 1 does not appear to work natively with Windows 10. Nothing I have tried so far has worked for me to get it working.
So whilst a very impressive number of the old games do work on the newer operating systems thanks to GOG, not all games appear to be so lucky.

You should be able to get most any older game working with this :

Free for personal use.

Well, the game card states in minimum requirements either NVidia or AMD GPU.
However unlike FO3 I don't see anything about FNV failing tests on our testlab machine.

I cannot say it's officially supported, but if you can wait till tomorrow I will be able to confirm if it at least launches on an Intel machine.

I had an absolute blast with this game. Sure, it's not the same as the old Fallouts, but I sometimes wonder what hardcore fans of game series really want: rehashing of the same game over and over? There are some legitimate complaints, but yeah, a lot of it is just plain... bewilderingly head-scratching.
Wishlisted!

Just kidding, I bought all of them, thank you GOG for finally bringing them!

A confession- This is the first time I've bought these on PC!

You're welcome but that's just my Nexus-fu speaking that comes from years and years of modding ;)

... and to think it was The Elder Scrolls Nexus back then T_T

From what I remember, FNV ran fine on our Intel machine.
