RainbowDragon: Hmmmm... sorry, maybe it's just me but WHY should we do this? We (maybe) have bought the game and now you will give us the soundtrack, art book and whatever for even more of our money? Where's the time when gog.com used to give us freebies for every game we bought and it was standard procedure to get wall papers, avatars and the soundtrack with the game without paying extra for it?
It's not GOG's decision. Direct your anger at the developers.
Here I was hoping this would upgrade the gameplay to actually have something to do...
I didn't even notice the music in Everspace. Honestly, i'm surprised to learn it actually has an OST. And Everspace itself is just art in motion; no need for an art "book" or wallpapers (you can make your own easily).
Nice option for die-hard collectors I guess, but this "upgrade" isn't even worth the HDD space to me, let alone another $8/9, lol.
Soundtrack being sold separately is standard nowadays, musicians wanna eat too and I can´t blame them.
I am happy that we can buy it, bundled with Artbook + wallpapers (which are there just as an incentive, really).

If something, I would ask for OST being added to older games (classics) where it is still not sold today, for free, but with new games, I can understand that it is being paid for.
I love EVERSPACE™, and I would have paid 10 bucks more for the game without hesitation, but I'm getting tired of all these "deluxe editions", so right now I'm not buying this.
Please, enough with the "deluxe editions" that are nothing more than some digital extras. Its bad enough to be DLC'd to death, but having 5 versions of the same game depending on what wallpaper and digital photobook it comes with is getting a bit ridiculous.
Nope no thank you take you super ultra special rare 1edition of 12 and shove it.

I thought the same thing - while it's true that we won't see the artists' design sketches and wire modelling phases, I can make screenshots of the finished product's action phases, the huge wrecks and cosmic debris. And I didn't notice much of the music either (I'm too busy trying to avoid getting killed!).

I'm sorry, but that $9.99 USD could be spent on another game, or towards a book. I have too many OSTs from GOG sitting in my iTunes library already that I never played, and as I said before, I can make my own book and wallpapers.

EDIT: I love, LOVE the game, make no mistake, but it's just the principle that others mentioned. I bought the game when it was under development, but even so if the extras were available at the 1.0 launch with a $5-7 USD price hike or asking price then I would have considered it. Instead what many of us see here is "thanks for buying our game a while back, but if you can spare $10 more we'll make it worth your while with these intangible shinies!".

Just...no.
