Power overwhelming.

Eradicator, a cult shooter where you venture into a hostile fortress that holds galaxy's most precious element, is available now for Windows, Mac, and Linux, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 50% launch discount.

Let's face it, building a sprawling citadel on a mysterious alien planet wasn't a very good idea to begin with. But somebody decided it was worth taking the risk as Ioxia is the only planet able to provide mankind with the valuable element Mazrium. Now the mysterious forces that were lying dormant at its core for all these years have awoken and all hell breaks loose. The situation calls for gun-blazing action. For explosive bravado. For an Eradicator.

You choose between Dan, Eleena, and lizardman Kamchak, grab as many weapons as you can carry, and enter the fortress to face the ugly hordes that have been unleashed. The gameplay will vary depending on the character you pick but one thing is for sure: you'll get to kick plenty of spiky alien buttocks. And when you need a breather, you can get down to solving the tantalizing puzzles found within the 25 levels of the vast citadel. The ability to toggle between 1st-person and 3rd-person view is bound to come in handy here.

Get geared up and blast the citadel clean of alien rabble as the Eradicator, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 50% discount will last until March 1st, 1:59 PM GMT.
I've noticed that the left and right audio channels are reversed in Eradicator. Is there a way to switch them back?

Azhdar: Why I never heard of this FPS before? Is it a Build engine game?
neither have I. loved Duke and I started to try shadow warrior which I felt improved on the things Duke had.
Never played this one, but looks fun. And really looks to be the Build engine
Interesting.

It certainly does. I want proof from those saying it's not because from all I've seen about it so far (may that be level geometry, the third-person camera in action, hell even the map screen) it screams Build engine.
According to this: http://www.mobygames.com/game/eradicator engine is coded by Randall Stevenson. It's not that hard to imitate Build engine anyway, many games like Realms of the Haunting, Terminator: Future Shock, Cyclones, Cybermage, Dark Forces achieved more or less that effect. If anything that looks more like offspring of Jedi engine and early Build of Powerslave.

Good info.
Does anyone know if there is a way to swap the audio in the game? It's reversed for some reason.

I added swapstereo=true to the conf file, but it didn't work. Plus there is no "daum" subfolder in the game. Is there any other way to fix this?

You could try getting the Daum build yourself, which I think you can find here.

It says DOSBox is v0.74 in the game. So that version doesn't work with swapping the stereo?

Well DOSBox 0.74 is from 2010, the Daum (and other) builds integrate certain new hacks and tweaks that have since been developed.
For example I think Daum has built-in MT32 support and it might have that swapstereo hack.
I don't have the game so I can't really test it, but apparently other people have noticed the same issue in other games.
And it might even have been a hardware bug in the original Soundblaster, in which case it's being emulated perfectly ;)
