MobiusArcher: I must not cool enough to understand why AF is such a bad thing to write.

Mr.Mumbles: "As fuck" for the non-prudes ;)
Oh dear, such terrible language! Please use the gog approved language: “As FCK”. That way no one understands it swearing.

Are you friends with the devs or something? I've never before seen you promote streams of a new game this persistently in the forums. :P
that is in fact what the twich team is for... ;)
I expected more comments and more purchases. Especially for game with "All Reviews: Very Positive" ratings in Steam.

@G-Doc :
I have a question (rather a request) for a G-Doc (or someone else from the developers, if they are here): can you add a lightsaber to the game (not exactly it, of course (legal problems), but some type of energy/light/laser/fire/pure magic sword. Some type of... like Dragon's Tooth nanosword from Deus Ex, for example)? Well, to have a supercutter with a non-physical blade. Or, may be, emits flying wave of energy in the direction of crosshair with every weapon swing.
It is possible to make it available to those who completed the game (maybe even at the most difficult level). That is, the superweapon is purely for the fan, for those who have already mastered the main content.

I bought Elderborn the other day. I am enjoying it. It is a simple game overall. There is no inventory management like Deus ex or System Shock. It is simple and all about fighting tactics. Sort of a mix between original Doom with melee weapons in a setting similar to Arx Fatalis. But with no NPC.

It is a decent game and worth what they are asking. They have done a good job with it. Some of the skill tree perks are nice too. RIP and TEAR gives you throw-able OBJECTS. ;)

Having some unlockable weapons for doing certain feats would be cool. A fire sword for completing the game and available the next play through as an example.

Maybe the developers have some post launch plans like that. :)

Thanks for the description, but I don’t know why you are telling me all this: I am the owner of the Metal AF Edition here and played the game. :)

To add such a sword is exactly what I propose.

Ok here's why I didn't hit the buy button in the end.

When it came on gog I took notice, looked at the marketing and promo video and had mixed feelings- the game looked really cool- setting- lots of action combat- really disliked the 'af' marketing buzzwords. looked at some user reviews- looked at the stream with the old guy in it. I loved Dark messiah but the annoying redo what you have done before save system and the lack of different environments combined with the marketing of souls like make everything ultra hard just put me off. I'm not interested in grinding smash mobs for ages just to fall before reaching a save point, we have plenty of diabilo style games already.

Price was reasonable, loved the undead Egyptian theme, but in the end I just never really got over the marketing or the 'souls' like game play to buy it and give it a proper go aka seemed too repetitive/ hack hack, try again 50 times hack hack again.
