Designed to bring players a modern take on a classic JRPG experience – get ready for an incredibly stylish, story rich, 2.5D action RPG developed by Rabbit and Bear Studios and published by 505 Games.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is now available on GOG with a -10% discount (if you own Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising) until April 30th, 2 PM UTC – prepare to lead 100+ playable characters through a war-torn world only you can save!

The story begins in one corner of Allraan, a tapestry of nations with diverse cultures and values. By dint of sword, and by way of magical objects known as “rune-lenses,” the land’s history has been shaped by the alliances and aggressions of the humans, beastmen, elves, and desert people who live there.

The Galdean Empire has edged out other nations and discovered a technology that amplifies the rune-lenses’ magic. Now, the Empire is scouring the continent for an artifact that will expand their power even further.

It is on one such expedition that Seign Kesling, a young and gifted imperial officer, and Nowa, a boy from a remote village, meet each other and become friends. However, a twist of fate will soon drag them into the fires of war, and force them both to reexamine everything they believe to be right and true.

That’s not the end of good news, though! You can now also get:
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Digital Deluxe Edition
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Season Pass
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Allraan Artistry Pack

Check it out!
Honestly, people... and fans... perhaps the translation could be better but this is not "the end". Most likely, for those having issues with, there will be a fan translation at some point and the spoken language can be keep to Japanese.

Maybe the devs will check out for better solutions in some future releases, as i think they are not ignorant. However, guess they can not take critics anymore so they kinda are not welcoming it (anymore), and it clearly has been harsh... i have to admit.

So far i definitely am enjoying this game... and there was actually just a handful of games in the recent time i truly enjoyed... so this is no easy feat. They clearly got the "heart of JRPG" and i FEEL it.

Just recently there was kinda some "epic fight" and it surely made me feel like a new Suikoden. Unfortunately i am unable to win it, as i can only get to the "final part", as to less HP left for the final blow. Although, there is no reward at all... maybe at new game+ i am gonna grind and try such "small challenges". Surely does not help i am on "hard mode" and not excessively grinding all the chars, which has been done by some players who succeeded it.

In my mind, "normal mode" is actually the "hard mode", with some increased difficulty, maybe normal mode+. Surely without hard mode the game would be to less challenging, so i keep it at hard.

Anyway... yeah... cool stuff and i am only at the beginning yet. Now building a base... it really feels like a new Suikoden... but not the modernized kind, rather like a mix between Suikoden 2 and Suikoden 3 (we all know the heritage and its creator).

There are surely more of such content, but it clearly is showing me who was "embracing" it.

In this "scenario" i have to say, below the bridge Nowa/Noahs HP was already depleted so much, the player was not able to win the final stage anymore; and there is some RNG (random damage). Surely crazy if some people reload the game over 20 times for it in order to "change the pot of luck", for no reward at all... it simply shows the love many fans seems to be giving this game and some "perfectionist attitude".

Regarding Offline-Installer: So far there has been 2 builds, not sure which one is actually the newest build. Although, i think a 3. build has been released very recently, probably yesterday... i cant say. First build was very buggy and it has been fixed very quick (15. 4 on GoGDB) and second one is the one i recently got (23.4. on GoGDB) with some bug fixing. The third build is not on GoGDB yet, it seems, but offered on the account.

Surely... stuff is "running", no issues here...

It's unfortunate. I think the gameplay would suit me, but I don't trust translators anymore.
If I can't get a Japanese game with Japanese audio and accurate text translation, I will not buy it.
Even machine translation is preferable to an english activist ... sorry "localizer", is the politically correct term for them..
I'd rather have a game with grammatical errors in it, than manufactured political propaganda shoved at me.
Soon the machine translators will take over though, solving the problem.Bye-bye english localizers ... good riddance.

At this point, I couldn’t care less. Rabbit and Bear have screwed over their kick backers and regular customers as though they were total shite….basically using the sales of the expansion pass to finance fixing this pile of rubbish. The game is a mediocre endeavor at best replete with bugs. The dlc are long long long long overdue. I can’t give them any credit whatsoever. Hopefully, this is their last attempt at creating rpgs.

Have the affected localisations been fixed/cleaned up in the meantime, at least?

Phew! What a scathing remark. Though after flicking through the Kickstarter comments, it doesn't appear to be unwarranted. Looks like I dodged a bullet with this one. Being this close to funding it myself, I would have ended up with a serving if mediocrity - like a shot of a spirit that doesn't burn the throat or put fire in the belly. Though when I see footage of this game, it still tempts me with what seems some redeeming qualities. But the clips don't wow me as they should, it strikes me as a little... bland, unfortunately.
