joveian: Yet another DLC release while still early access while the base game is often heavily discounted. Some developers just consider anyone who buys their game to be wealthy suckers and treat them accordingly.
steelwraith: It's not silly to speak up and say 'This is a bullsh!t cash grab for an early access title".
Both this and their earlier furry DLC are completely separate from the main game, absolutely unnecessary, and just silly fluff for people who like that. It's not a cash grab when the vast majority of their audience will have absolutely no desire to own these DLCs.
If they did content DLC while still in early access, you'd be right to complain, but this is pure cosmetics, and silly cosmetics at that. Just ignore them, and enjoy the core game, which is excellent, and improving constantly, with frequent additions of core content (as part of the main game, not as DLC) like additional ship models and extended story options.
These developers are Good People (TM), and do not deserve this kind of negativity which seems to completely misunderstand what they're doing.
Atlo: I'm actually interested.
(Not in the DLC, the base game.) This one also has a demo! Neet.
I would have preffered 3D, but space games with newtonian physics AND space games with no emphasis on combat are so rare, that this one sticks out.
I can strongly recommend playing the demo - it should, as noted above, still be completely equivalent to the full game, as
they removed all demo restrictions when Russia invaded Ukraine:
Instead of buying ΔV, spend your money on something important and help someone in need. You can get the full version of ΔV when we have peace again.
I can recommend browsing the diligently posted change logs in that thread, too - you'll see that they're constantly expanding and refining the way the ships and the physics models are simulated. It's really been a joy to see the game keep on evolving.
