Better get ready, because Dungeon Tavern is now available on GOG!

Two brave adventurers set out on a journey to defeat the demon king – only to find themselves locked deep within the dungeons of a tavern on the outskirts of the monster kingdom. Holding them captive are a murderer's row of monstrous mal-adapts.

The link doesn't work, and the store search also comes up with no result.

Both work for me. Must be blocked in Germany, possibly because of the seedy nature of the game ?...

The link works - game is on GOG with a 20% discount. The only question though is this an actual release because it's still in early access over at Steam......



Also this game is essentially a sex dungeon under a tavern where the GOG page has both the NSFW, sexual content, nudity, and hentai tags, so I expect that this thread is going to have the usual whining.

Is le NSFW which is no no for us.

The game does look interesting, interesting Art style.
BUT it is definitely in early Access. Version over on the other store is 0.342.
Please fix Gamepage GOG ?

To me, nothing in the attached screenshot screams: "not suited for work".

Actually, I think it looks quite good, at least going by the screenshots. In fact, if it wasn't for the promise of happy tentacles (whatever floats your boat guys, but this stuff just creeps me out) I might be interested. As things are, it's not for me, but looks ok.

Although this part of the description is kind of funny to me "You get to influence which characters hook up with each other, which then results in the corresponding animation!" What? Animations corresponding to what's happening in the game? What quadruple-A sorcery is this? :D

Yeah. Weird release, no NSFW mention and not mention it's in Dev.......

Ah... so that's the difference between the other medieval tavern games.

Didn't read down the page to find "erotic" in the text. Curious that none of the tags you mentioned show up... unless you click "show more;" one would think those would be at the front of the tag list.

The GOG page is seriously G-Rated compared to the Steam page for this game, both in terms of banner images and descriptions. The corresponding animations would be that besides the two heroes, there's drow, ghosts, constructs, and monstrous men and women. The game has over 60 different combinations of sexual partners and activities. (Info pulled from the Steam page.) The game also had an update last month that added sex sound effects.

If you look at the "tavern" games on GOG, most of them are not even tavern games. If you seriously just want to play a tavern game, I would go with one of the following....

Tavern Master = tavern simulator

Epic Tavern = claims to be an RPG, but it looks like it's also a tavern simulator

Between Tavern Master and Epic Tavern, I have Tavern Master on my wish list. The only reason that I'm passing on Epic Tavern is because my computer meets the minimum but not recommended requirements.

Wartales - The Tavern Opens! = DLC that adds a tavern to the game Wartales and since I don't own Wartales (or intend to own it), there's nothing I can say except that it looks like there's serious taverning going in the screen shots.

A Tavern for Tea = short visual novel that happens to take place in a tavern, but you brew tea.... which means that this is a visual novel that takes place in a team room / team house, not a tavern

Dungeon Tavern = sex dungeon game where the sex dungeon happens to be under a tavern. It doesn't matter if you start out in the tavern, it's blatantly a sex dungeon game.

Fantasy Tavern Sextet 1 & 2 = porn visual novels and saying that, it doesn't matter if there's a tavern or not here because these types of games are about the porn

Heroes of the Monkey Tavern = appears to be tavern in name only as it's a 1st person dungeon crawl RPG with reviews so mixed that I've decided that there's better games to be purchasing, especially when I don't even own Legends of Amberland or Legend of Grimrock 2

Tavernacle! = action-adventure involving dwarves, ale, and taverns... but from the looks of the game, it's like 99% action-adventure and maybe 1% taverns.

Ah. I guess I have to retract my "I'd be interested if it weren't for the tentacles". I liked the art style and thought it's more of a fantasy comedy about running an inn frequented by adventurers and busty elf maidens rather than just a "porn and nothing more" deal.
