This game looks interesting, one question though, do I need to play the prequels to understand whats happening or is this a whole new story ?

I think the game is good giving you a summary of what happened in the past, didn't feel I needed to play previous games.

Thanks. ^^
Will think about giving this game a try.
Will the fabled rhino show up in this chapter or will Dalthnock feel once again the crushing wave of disappointment from its absence? Tune with us to find out!

Maybe the rhino was a victim of the rampant poaching of rhinos for their horns because certain people are obtuse enough to believe that drinking powdered rhino horn will make you a real man :(

Oh, and please excuse my ignorance, but with the upgrade to the Unitty 5 engine, will this game still work on XP/Vista?

Hope it get's some performance patch eventually because it didn't ran so good last time I tried. I will prob wait for the last chapter to be released to really play it.

I haven't played the new chapter yet, but it is supposed to be using the Unity 5 engine as
opposed to Unity 4 which it was using before and this alone should give it a noticeable performance boost.

They did their very best to make understanding possible, but it will still be a difficult walk at times.

RTG tries to introduce new characters instead of relying on the old ones, and it's mostly only when they HAVE to bring up the old cast in detail when it becomes a bit much for the newbies.

Still, give it a shot. Price is pretty spectacular at the time. :)

You'll ride an and a [url=http://tlj.wikia.com/wiki/Leapfur]Leapfur in this one, as far as I can tell; combined they may have some rhino qualities. But you'll have to decide for yourself.

Great! Thank You!
Nice, now it's just one more episode to go before I can finally start playing the game. ;)

I think I've just come to realize that I actually like episodic games, I just hate episodic releases. :P

(Off-topic, but I'm kind of afraid that by the time Kentucky Route Zero will finally be complete, I will have forgotten that I ever showed interest in it and actually bought it, on top of that.)

It has already gotten one in the form of Unity 5 upgrade. It has pretty much doubled framerates for most people. Some have gotten even more.
