How to restrain your dragon.

Drakkhen is now available DRM-free, on GOG.com.
On a faraway island, the dragon lords stir from their slumber. If their foretold rise to power comes to pass, the age of man will come to an end, eclipsed by the winged reptiles of old. At the emperor's behest, four heroes set forth to cancel the apocalypse, traveling through 3D vector landscapes, solving devious puzzles, and fighting terrible, pixelated enemies in real-time. Prepare yourselves, heroes, for this ancient enemy is far from toothless.

nightcraw1er.488: Shame this was in a bundle of about 15 games for 0.89cents:

Sorry gog if you want to be steam your going to have price like it. No buy.

muntdefems: Steam doesn't sell those 21 (not 15) games for a dolly, your argument is invalid.
Hell, my eyes must be off as in big letters at the top of that page it states:
Only 1$
21 steam games from
The golden age of gaming

Wether steam make any money off it, they are still getting the customers, and the user data.

htown1980: so no reviews up yet. whats the game like?
Well, the Amiga version got according to mobygames rather good reviews.
New classic on a Tuesday again? Nice! Thank you Infogrames, Piko & GOG team! <3
With the classic releases last week that were hailed as "From The Community Wishlist", it seems GOG is putting increased attention on what the community wants. Time to make your voices heard.

See here: Which classic games would you like to see released on GOG?

And once again like with Opus Magnum, it took far too much to get gog to pay attention.
Glad to see GOG finally releasing the games Piko has up on Steam. Here's a list of the rest of their titles if anyone wants to vote them up on the community wishlist.

That isn't Steam's prices, it's Fanatical's. Besides, some of us don't want GOG to be Steam. Also, GOG went the extra steps to set it up for Mac and Linux.
I bought the Dollar Classics Bundle at Fanatical a few days ago. :D

Much better deal for people who don't mind using Steam.
Being a 1989 game, what sound card support does it have? PC beeper, Adlib, even Roland MT-32?

For pre-1990 games, I usually prefer Amiga versions over PC versions.

So, it's still steam keys, customers going to steam.
Gog is steam, has been for years. It doesn't have the ceg component, and the vast library, or the multitude of cheaper sellers like steam, but otherwise it is, and that is what they want, and what I have clearly been against for a long time. Well they want it, now they have to perform like steam, no clear selling point anymore.
I certainly am not paying 4 times the price for one single game just to support this site, those days are long gone.

Remember: Don't bump into the grave markers.
Well that sure is old, is it the oldest game here?

Sucks for RP, makes no sense.

Akalabeth: World Of Doom (limited release circa 1979)
For a second I thought Gog released Drakan but no luck for me. :(

Vote for Drakan!

Still, it's nice to have another good old game release here. :)

edit: I can't get links to work right so just copy and paste the link below for the wiki on Drakan.
