Not showing for me!
Oh, nice one. Rather surprised to just see the first game though. What about the sequel and expansion?

Time4Tea: It looks very interesting. Is it open world? It sort of looks like it from the screenshots.
No. There are a number of locations you travel to, and one nasty thing is that once you complete the main quest in a location, you can't return to it.
The areas can be fairly large though. And the running speed of the characters is slow, so they'll seem even larger.
Wrote a review back when I played it.

No. But it has huge hubs.

rodrolliv: So which languages are actually included? Gamecard says text only for English, German and French atm, that can't be right.
I assume that they have the little bit of voice acting that was included in the retail version (I can only speak for the german version – the first line of each dialogue had voice acting) and that this doesn't qualify for a tick in german/english/... audio. But I'd like to see a confirmation for this from someone who's already installed the game.
Regarding other languages, some posts have mentioned legal stuff that might've prevented i.e. the spanish localization to be part of the GOG release.

Ok, thanks. It sounds a bit similar to Witcher 1 then, in that respect (which is not necessarily a bad thing).

Edward_Carnby: Now 'River of Time' please.
It should be on its way too... to be honest I'm surprised we aren't also getting it today.
NICE!
How is this version in the technical/compatibility side?

The FX Interactive version and apparently the Steam version need to be launched in windowed mode and later alt+enter if you want fullscreen. If the game is not launched windowed via command line the game refuses to run.

And I remember that the second title, The river of time, not present in GOG Yet, needed to be ran in windowed mode all the time to be functional.

Has the GOG version any wrapper or fix to be ran out of the box? any compatibility glitches under windows 10?

Apart of the above mentioned, my copy of FX nteractive runs relatively well. But the discount in GOG is pretty good. If something is changed in this version for the good I would consider buying this.

greetings.

I was about to ask the same. Both Drakensang games have the same problem. It would be nice to get a mod/person who already bought the game to confirm this for us.

I'm sitll getting it though!

Yes, exactly what I was thinking. I have both from Steam, and they are a pain to run, especially river of time. I would re-buy from GoG if the compatibility is better. Can anyone confirm?
Nice to see it here finally! Now for the others...!
Does this version really run on a computer? I once had a retail version of Drakensang, which included all patches and bugfixes, but I never was able to play it, because on every computer I tried it, it crashed right after the start. A few times I was able to get to the character creation, but not any further.
So can someone confirm, that this version runs on a computer?
Great game! Dragon Age fans should check this one out,

I'm curious too, the steam version only works if you play the game windowed, full screen it is bound to get stuck during the start.

If my memory serves me right even with the window fix the steam version ran pretty bugged nonetheless

So i'm not buying this one, i have the game on dvd, on steam and then a third purchase on gog just for the sake of it....
