DreamedArtist: Gonna have to give this game a shot, looks good.
I always considered the gameplay and 3D of these games like a mix of The Witcher 1, Dragon Age Origins and Neverwinter Nights with The Dark Eye roleplaying system of Realms of Arkania; but bundled in a newer and more streamlined set of rules.

It was underrecognized at the time. I consider that It deserved more.
Is the official HiRes texture pack included in this release?

come to think of it, it does have that feel or look of those games. a lot of rare little gems that never get discovered cause internet was not a thing untill 2004 for me lol
Is it playable out of the box in 4K?

Or do I need to install some mods on top?

The maximum resolution for me in game is 1360x768 but my native resolution is 1366x768. Into the Documents folder you can edit manually the profile and set your prefered resolution or to fit your native res, I do not now the hardcoded limit though.

paladin181: I am buying a few bonus copies for a giveaway. You can still be gifted games that are region locked.

If you open your chat settings (temporarily) I will send you a key.
You are a blessed kind soul. That would be amazing. How could I return that favour?
The game runs fine under win10 prof in 1920x1080 without any problems !

No need. It's a very small favor! Trust me. You want to repay me? Enjoy the game!

WinterSnowfall: Time for your regular Wine report... seems there are some issue on the audio side with the latest Wine version (5.22) at the time of writing. I get warning messages from wmav2 then the game crashes after a couple of minutes, though all the audio plays fine as far as I can tell. It might need an xact winetrick to work properly, though I've yet to test it.
Do you have any updates on that?
