Oh goddammit!

nD3D9 server: Could not create d3d device!
DirectX error is: D3DERR_INVALIDCALL

EDIT: I fixed it by first opening the properties in the shortcut and C&P this: -autoconfig -windowed -noborder

I then set the screen size in the game and then went into the profile.xml and set my screen size to its native resolution, and now it works proper!

So yeah, this version has the same problems than the Steam one.

Yep, it's where I got the solution funnily enough!

Kelefane: Dungeon Master 1+2 soon?
You know, I was just thinking that maybe I'd mention that this about completes my burned games replacement drive, so maybe I should start spamming every thread with a request for Disgaea, like a certain other user does with the DM series. Then I realized its been years, and all you've managed to do is spam enough threads that you've become a fixture of sorts. I really want Disgaea here, but I don't want to become a fixture like that. I guess I'll just have to wait patiently (or die first, whatever).
Can someone provide a link to this game.
Searching the store for Drakensang comes up with no results found.

Did you try the link at the top provided by GOG?

Also just did a search, for "drak" and it showed 2 results, one for Drakkhen and one for Drakensang. Maybe typed it in wrong?

tritone: For the old timers, GOG also has other games based on The Dark Eye pen & paper RPG... the Realms of Arkania series. All 3 games are here.

Gudadantza: And two point and cñick adventures based in the same universe: Chains of Satinav and Memoria. But the really interesting titles are the Realms of Arkania trilogy you mentioned. Amazing old School hardcore crpgs.
Don't leave Blackguards out!

It's region-blocked in Australia / NZ.

The game is regionally-blocked in AU and NZ. That's why you can't see it or buy it. However, if you have a friend in some other region, they can gift it to you.

Hm, and I was about to buy it here again, because I seemed to remember the Steam versions don't run that well out of the box. Does seem a pointless now, if nothing really has changed in the GOG version ... I was hoping they had ensured that it would run fine on modern systems.

Btw, why does it say text only and no audio in English, French or German? I remember there being at least voiceovers in the intro movie. Would be nice to know whether you can choose between the languages for them as well.

Exactly the same.. I was afraid of that. Too bad because I actually wanted to buy a fixed version from GoG.
