Hard to argue with that price. Yoink!
INSTA-BOUGHT! With a AAA from Sony, and now a another great game from the other end of the spectrum, both titles I never thought I'd see coming here so soon! Thanks GoG, now if we can get Drakansang 2 that'd be great!

RadonGOG: Oh, I guess the best way is to show some footage from the main city. But it´s quite hard to find some spoiler-free one. But here it is:
https://youtu.be/58a_zfxVclk?t=978 (for one minute spoiler-free city traversel)

I wish there´d be a video only showing off the city traversel and no real gameplay. Well, anyways, I guess this should already give quite a cosy feeling.

Edit: Well, some things one could mention are: You´ve got several talents (somewhat comparable to skills) you can use in different occasions. For example, one can get better in plants and therefor be able to collect plants that were previously uncollectable. Or you can get better with looting animals and get another loot phase. Each of these aspects are quite slow-paced and work together with a very relaxing soundtrack and world design...
I'll check it out. Well, assuming I don't get cancelled in the process lol.

Mafwek: Well, both Morrowind and Skyrim are piss easy. I remember beginning to play demo of this game, but never getting far. I also remember reading that this game really doesn't like spellcasters.
You mean Drakensang doesn't like spellcasters? My character was a healer, and seemed like a great choice to me, as there was none among the companions.
Great release. It's a game I've had on my "for the future" list for quite some time. Glad to finally see it here.

RadonGOG: Just checked the download session: Version 1.03, WTF? Why not 1.1?

Anime-BlackWolf: If I read the german forum correctly, version v1.1 and up is not windows 10 compatible anymore. Something in the update in combination with full screen mode kills the game. So maybe we get an older, but much more stable version here at GOG at the moment. I COULD live with such a downgrade with increased compability...
In the game folder you will find the ReadMe for 1.1, which would make no sense if the game was not patched to 1.1. All problems described in the german forum have nothing to do with the version number. edit: However, I have only looked this up for the german version now. edit: It seems that only the german version is 1.11. The english one has no hints in the folder.

Oh crap. Why is this????
For the old timers, GOG also has other games based on The Dark Eye pen & paper RPG... the Realms of Arkania series. All 3 games are here.

Yes, I remember reading Drakensang doesn't like spellcaster, but no personal confirmation. You played the game, so obviously you should know better than me.

Good question. The game isn't available to us on Steam either (although keys do activate if you can get one).

My first guess was that it might have been refused classification, but I checked and Drakensang seems to be rated M...

Maybe there is some licensing issue with whoever distributed the original release back in 2009.

The River of Time and Phileasson's Secret weren't released in Australia at all, as far as I can tell. Steam codes appear to work (have not verified myself).

Finally. From what I remember, it's impossible to buy Drakensang on Steam from where I live, so you need to get someone to gift/trade you the game to get it.
Finally! Thank you GOG!

I hope 'Drakensang: The River of Time' will be released here too.

...with a 75% discount lasting until 2nd December 2020, 2 PM UTC.
Yet i see only 72% discount on game page...
Still good but you should either fix typo in forum message or set proper discount.

And two point and cñick adventures based in the same universe: Chains of Satinav and Memoria. But the really interesting titles are the Realms of Arkania trilogy you mentioned. Amazing old School hardcore crpgs.
