A merciless survival roguelite turn-based city builder – dotAGE is now out on GOG!

You are the Elder. You had a vision of a doomed future, so you took a handful of Pips, your fellow villagers, and led them to an empty valley to start anew. They need your guidance to survive the events foretold by the Prophecy, so make sure your Pips work hard! With its turn-based village builder mechanics inspired by board games, roguelike survival elements, awesome pixel graphics, and multiple difficulty levels to match your playstyle, it’s one of those indie gems that will give you incredible amounts of fun.

eric5h5: It's not "a different taste", it's that somehow EVERYTHING is miserable and bad and horrible, and the incessant need to claim that everything is miserable and bad and horrible on every topic.
Fun fact: I didn't claim anything to be bad in this topic. I just said that I don't like something. It might just blow your mind, but that's not the same thing.

Also, I often talk of games I like, I often recommend games, and whenever a release looks interesting to me, I say that too. It's not my fault you don't notice that, nor is it my fault if the releases I can comment on enthusiastically are fewer than the opposite. I also don't care if me expressing my opinion bothers you, so I'm afraid you'll just have to learn to live with it, my youthfully joyful friend:)

Oriza-Triznyák: Gog version is already outdated .

Newest version is V 1.1.10 N .
The one installed and updated through Galaxy is the latest version. The offline installer is indeed outdated (j build).
Gog will update it hopefully soon. My limited understanding is that the offline installers must be updated by Gog themselves manually while the Galaxy version can be updated by developers directly. Sometimes it takes a while for the offline version.

Hello everybody, dev here!

Indeed, the first version updates need to go throught the manual GoG pipeline, so there seems to be some delay with the patch update as the "j" version is the one they tested. I sent them yesterday the "n" patch so it should come up soon.

Breja: survival, roguelite and city builder - that's probably the closest to a complete collecion of genres I can't stand in one game that I've seen. Just add "visual novel", and the unholy beast will be complete.

I tried the demo several times, but did not get anywhere, maybe because English is not my first language. So: is the German translation complete by now?

Yes, German is in the game, and in the demo too, do try it out! It might not be perfect as it's done by volounteers, but it seems to work fine for all players!
