We know them, we love them, and they’re about the get better than ever – DOOM + DOOM II, now available in one, neat pack, is out on GOG!

Developed by id Software, and originally released in 1993, DOOM pioneered and popularized the first-person shooter, setting a standard for all FPS games. The critically acclaimed sequel, DOOM II, followed in 1994. Now the definitive, newly enhanced versions of DOOM and DOOM II are available as a combined product.

Buying DOOM + DOOM II you’ll get access to a variety of content, expansion packs, as well as a series of notable improvements.

Now on GOG!

Worth noting: If you owned DOOM (1993) and/or DOOM II, you’ll receive DOOM + DOOM II for free.

Gaerzi: Okay. I have Doom II Enhanced, The Ultimate Doom, Final Doom, Doom II + Master Levels, and Doom I Enhanced. I don't have the new version.
Same here, not showing as owned or in my library.

Foxhack: This is sold for $9.99 in the USA. So why is the price $10.22 here in Mexico?
avatar
Shevard100: the same price in Brazil. I didn't know that the economy in Latin America was better than in Uncle Sam's land
This is such crap, man.

I used to rely on GOG to give us fair pricing but it looks like that's not gonna happen anymore.
Not listed as owned yet, and is quite strange regional pricing doesn't apply to this game in particular seeing other Bethesda published games

If it is more expansive in Mexico as Foxhack says, there is regional pricing.

To promote border-crossing. /s

KetobaK: This will be a new entry or an updated entry in our libraries?
Since it has a new name, new art etc. I expect it to be a new entry in my GOG library. No idea if the old enhanced versions will disappear though. So maybe better make a backup of those just in case.
Not listed as owned yet too. Fixed probably tomorrow.
I guess the extras included in this pack are not available to those of us who have the games outside of this compilation. :(

Read the last line of the opening news post again.

So far I see nothing new in my library. And, minus some extras mentioned on the game's GOG page.

From the Steam version page:

"PlayFab account and persistent internet connection required to access certain features and content. Acceptance of End User License Agreement, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy required to play. The DOOM + DOOM II service may be discontinued, and content modified, disabled, suspended or removed, at any time. See Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and additional details at bethesda.net."

I hope we don't have another massively delayed release because of online nonsense, like with Quake Enhanced.
