<span class="bold">Doom 3: BFG Edition</span> is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com, with a 75% launch discount.
Back to reclaim its FPS throne, Doom 3 adds a strong dose of claustrophobic horror into the series' timeless cocktail of explosive action, horrific enemies, and ultra-violent massacre.

Jesus fucking christ i nearly forgot about forced galaxy, i had to restart and select classing installer on more, why in the nine fucking circle of hell i had to opt out of not being chucked now?!

Doom without multiplayer? I'll skip this for now. Would be an instabought if the original was inlcuded. Still, it's nice to see this here.

Yes it has and for the joy of everone those modification aka censorship this time were dome internationally. So please all: thank the German politicians for getting a censored version as well.

TheCollector: This is complete bull&%$§. Can't purchase these games in germany. The funny thing: Both games are NOT BANNED in germany. I've seen both of them in stores a few days ago.
Just a slight correction: there are not banned games in Germany at all. There are only games that aren't allowed to be advertized and some very few games that aren't allowed to be sold in Germany (however you are still allowed to own and play them).

So I'm looking at the wiki page someone kindly linked.. and I see two differences that... bother me.

First, reduced FOV...
Second, 14 save slots plus auto save.

Please tell me those are both console only changes to deal with sitting farther away from the TV than a computer monitor, and smaller HD's.

Even with the small ass HD I have I almost never worry about too many saves (outside of games that actually slow down when having a lot, looking at you PIllars of Eternity), and usually end up turning the FOV up in FPS games...

edit: Apparently it's even DRM free over there, or at least can be (legally) patched to be.
I can confirm this (DRM-free on steam) since I recently tried it. You will need the newest patch but then no steam is needed anymore.

Uh, these don't sound like minor changes, though i've not played the BFG Edition so I can't compare:

Quick question, is it just the bfg edition, or does it include vanilla doom 3, cause nothing ruined this game as much as the duct tape thing did, it'd be great if the vanilla were included, otherwise it's a nogo
