Upgrade to <span class="bold">Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition</span>, now DRM-free on GOG.com
I also had the Kickstarter CE (Source Hunter DLC). This bonus content is missing in the EE. Is this a mistake?

fortune_p_dawg: Probably not if you bought a GOG code from there. I think the only place you can buy legitimate GOG codes is (and someone correct me if I'm wrong) GOG.com.

Azonn: Really ???
I'm sure the GOG key will work perfectly fine, but Judas has stated that there are no authorized resellers of GOG keys. So, if GOG for whatever reason determined that a person used a key that was initially purchased with a stolen credit and then sold to G2A or another reseller from which the user bought said key, my guess is they could opt to not fully support that person's copy of a game.

Though I don't know this for sure.

CountEdmond: I don't believe this is correct. Someone from reddit posted they bought DOS on G2A and received the free upgrade today.
Well I don't know. You guys could be right. I've never bought anything from there as their storefront looks like a Dorito & Mountain Dew induced nightmare.

You trust more reddit than GOG, ? o_O

GA2 has a shaddy business, i would never buy there ,

And no Mac version, either. From a post of theirs on Steam, they are planning both for December.

1. Where is the MAC version?

The Mac/Steam/Linux versions of Divinity:Original Sin Enhanced Edition are coming in December 2015.

Makes perfect sense... Who about avoiding G2A and not blaming the victim?

mrkgnao: I'm still interested in the game (plus bonuses), but this move by Larian means that whereas until now I was waiting for the 50% sale, now I'm waiting for the 65% sale. I have time.
Honestly i'm not sure it's intentional ,

here are the exact words from Larian :

"If you have bought the CE of DOS in the past, you should now (as of this moment) have the CE content of DOS:EE. Restart your steam if this does not work right away.

You should have extra:
- Design Documents
- Soundtrack
- Art pack"

(please disregard the steam part , funny part though ; it's the same issue on Steam ...)

The gamecard for the collector's edition on GOG is misleading / not very clear at all :/

as you pointed out payind 30 euro more (or whatever) is just ridiculous if you just want the soundtrack. + extra goodies.

DyNaer: that's my understanding of the gamecard for the Collector's edition. I don't have any other explanation : i fired up a ticket to the support for clarification.....
Me neither. Well i could live with that because i have the goodies through the original game...

avatar
Grargar: Then, if you didn't buy the Source Hunter DLC before the release of the Enhanced Edition, your only choice to get the extras is to buy the Collector's Edition, which I find really shitty. Plus, the person who will redeem the code will also have no access to the extras, unless he also double-dips for the Collector's Edition.
Well i bought it before...which means i have access to the extras via the original game but for anyone not having the Source Hunter DLC before that is indeed really bad....and the price tag for the Collector's Edition is pretty high and they don't even offer an Upgrade...

I don't think we'll get much traction today, since it's 9PM in Poland, but I'll be disappointed if tomorrow we don't get at least an upgrade path to the collector's edition or a way to get the DLC/soundtrack without buying another copy of the game (which is stupid).

My issue (as someone who hasn't bought the game) is that the CE now costs $70, whereas yesterday it cost $50.

i understood pretty well , and that's a shitty move imho.

why including the original version, since they claim the enhanced version is superior ? o_O ,
