darthspudius: Admittedly this is exactly why I bought it on Steam. To guarantee updates.
Admittedly, it's not exactly a secret that GOG needs a way for faster updates. Galaxy isn't cutting it quite yet.

Yeah it is one of my big gripes with GOG. I don't buy big budget games where there is little or no support.
Yeah, I learned my lesson with this one. Oh well.
Question everyone... I'm playing the game using the gamepad, but I can't find an option to hide the helmet unless I'm using the mouse and keyboard. Why doesn't the game has the option to hide the helmet in the inventory when using the gamepad? Or is it very well hidden? lol
Goddamn this game is supposed to be the "Enhanced Edition" yet they still released a patch :P
I am kind of disappointed with the lack of online multiplayer. Seems you can still only play online co-op through LAN. There seems to be direct connect either via IP or Server ID (neither work). And there are no public games available. I assume this is all Steam features that are not useable through gog. Whatever happened to Crossplay GOG galaxy advertised to broadly?

I imagine the developer has to care enough to allow it.

I thought they could at least make things crossplay.

It should. You obviously need the same game version.

Tested them out two days ago and it didn't work.

Thank you so much for not making this console exclusive!! Just bought the game here because of it :)

"Hello

The Collector's Edition of Divinity: Original Sin was never available on GOG. If you were supposed to receive the Collector's Edition of Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition you need to contact Larian support to get a key for it.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

technically they are right , but it's just BS , base game (original) + source Hunter DLC is the collector's edtion (digial, not boxed ofc).

i can live with, i'm far more concerned for those who doesn't have an option except to pay 70 euro if they want the soundtrack. for example.

JaqFrost: Well, I did what Genoan suggested and I hope others do too: contact Larian, tell them we were referred to them by GOG support, and ask what the deal is with this.
Did you even get a response from Larian in regards to this? Did they upgrade your edition of the game?

Let's hope they'll include a split-screen mode (and other local multiplayer modes) in the sequel because the open world sandbox multiplayer they are planning to create is something that I've wanted ever since I've played a computer RPG.

No, no reply. Just very loud silence which served to give me the impression that they feel that we should pay for a new copy of the game if we want the same perks that we previously had.

Nothing from Larian ...

and a somewhat explanation from GOG.

"Hello

I apologize for the late reply. I forward your questions to our Product Team and had to wait for a reply, these are the answers I received:
The extra are the same for the old Source Hunter DLC and the current Collector's Edition.
The bonus contents are not available Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition because they are part of a different product.

i mixed up the collector's edition of the EE & the original game + source hunter dlc (which isn't the collector's edition)

the collector's edition of the original version included all others games from the serie aswell (should be Divine Divinity , Beyond Divinity & Divinity 2 DC -> was avaible on Steam & boxed copies if i'm not wrong).

i mentioned the issued about the dlc no more avaible (to larian support) for the original game & the atrocious price for getting the extra goodies rigt now: because those concerned probably doesn't want to pay 70 euro for just this.
