Rincewind81: Ok, we have no Galaxy support, ...snip
Yay, the good news continues! A free game and not associated with clientware.
I wish Id bought Divinity: Original Sin here on GoG and not over on Steam, which is causing nothing but problems for quite some time now. >.<
Anyhow, thanks for the free upgrade Larian Studios, rather than making us buy it a second time, kudos. :D
Nice!

Its not the game that is acting weird, its Steam itself that is giving me one too many error messages the last few days. >.<
Sorry, I wasnt being clear on that. ^^

As an example: You try to play a game and suddenly Steam closes itself and the game along with it...
Nice to see an improved edition. :-)

Will I be able to just load up my previous game from before the end and go check out all the new stuff or I have to start a new game?

You'd need to start a new game entirely.

Ah ok.
Thanks

Rincewind81: If you buy the game now you will only get the new version. If you bought it in the past - you will have both.
Can you or anyone confirm this? I've been told really conflicting things on this and whether if it did come with the original it came with the original source hunter DLC As well.

According to one of the devs of the game on Steam, you won't get the original version if you buy the Enhanced Edition now. In fact, they are planning on relaunching the original version as a separate product. As for the Source Hunter DLC, the base version of the Enhanced Edition contains the in-game content of the Source Hunter DLC, but not the extras (artbook, design notes, soundtrack); those are now only available via the Collector's Edition.

Until now yes, Steam closed 3 times while I was playing a game. I started patching all of my drivers to see if maybe this will stop it from happening again.

I was away to say that. It could be a driver issue. I had an issue like this many years ago when a steam update didn't take effect very well. But I haven't seen this issue in quite a while.
So before I download this is the cross play with steam working?
