Blizzard Entertainment and GOG.COM have teamed up to rerelease select classic Blizzard games, beginning with Diablo®, Blizzard’s legendary 1996 action role-playing game that introduced players to the harsh—and deeply rewarding—world of Sanctuary.

The original Diablo® is available now via digital distribution for the first time ever on GOG.COM. Players looking for the authentic Diablo experience can play the game as it was in 1996, with period-appropriate 20 FPS SVGA graphics, and the ability to matchmake through the classic version of Blizzard’s Battle.net® online-gaming service.

Blizzard and GOG.COM have collaborated on an updated version of the game, which includes out-of-the-box Windows 10 compatibility, and a host of bug fixes. Players can choose either version of the game from a launcher.
I have not play this since i was kid and i still enjoy it even with out all those hack cheat and stuff

ChrisGamer300: Good that it sells so well, now push blizzard to release D2 here as well and not just Bnet, over 1000 replies in a release thread is quite impressive so now it's time to go to 2000 !

It has new traction! It is currently at number 69, having pushed past discounted Jade Empire.

Wow 69! One of my fav numbers. :p

Looks like Spring Sale is having additional impact on Diablo sales. Good timing GOG team. :D
Just noticed that Diablo doesn't show as in my library in the bestselling list...

From the same bug that gives you games not showing up as owned on the weekly sales pages. None of the games I've bought since late February show up as owned.

It seems they do not plan to fix this bug ("not showing up as owned"). For this two months it was already possible not only to fix the bug or roll back the changes that broke the site, but even to rewrite everything from scratch. Well, or return the normal, good old interface, where everything works fine and fast.

Woohoo!. Quite the achievement indeed! :D Let's hope it gets to page 1 fast! ;-)

Going to buy Warcraft 1 & 2 here also as soon as they land. And I hope Blizzard will release other original titles as well. ^.^

Frankly, I wouldn't put much stock in the bestselling list. For one, a few years back during a site redesign the list got basically reset. Also, when Thronebreaker, CDPR's self-admitted low expectation seller, is supposedly 2 places below Witcher 3 you know it can't be very accurate.
While Warcraft 1 & 2 steal the show, Diablo moves up another couple of notches, to # 66.

It's #64 place now. That was fast!

Indeed. I believe there must be voids between some games more difficult to cross, and then perhaps a cluster of games, quickly passed, then a new void ..

1. According to what GOG employees have stated at least once in the forums in years past [I have no link to back this up -- just my vague recollection, sorry], the "all-time" bestselling ranking actually only covers the last year-ish, so even if the ranking was somehow reset one time a few years ago, it wouldn't matter by now.
2. The Witcher III's on-site sales are split between at least two different editions. (Before the GOTYE was released, there was a package that has the base game + expansion pass; assuming this catalogue entry wasn't just converted into the one for the GOTYE, that would make three different packages that have been sold here containing the base game.) If sales for these were combined, I would wager that the game's "all-time" ranking would easily be in the top 5. So Thronebreaker's not actually as close on its heels as it seems.
3. Underperforming or not, Thronebreaker is still a recent game that has "the Witcher" in its title, got fairly positive reviews overall, and was a GOG exclusive for the first week or two after its release. Am I surprised that it's currently in the top 25? Sure. Do I think that chicanery is the only possible explanation for it reaching #21 in its first six months? No.
