Last (garbage) man standing

Deponia 4: Deponia Doomsday, the new time-bending chapter in Rufus' misadventures, is now available DRM-free on GOG.com for Windows, Mac, and Linux, with GOG Galaxy support for achievements and a 10% launch discount + Gomo added as a FREE bonus.

Remember when we said Goodbye Deponia and [spoiler alert] watched incredulously as Rufus nobly sacrificed himself to save the junkyard world? So does Rufus! Or at least he thinks so. Wait, how is he still alive? Could it all have been just a dream? Did Elysium really fall from the sky soon after? This is all a huge mess and there is only one way out: to travel through time with the help of the eccentric temporal scientist McChronicle and set things right. By doing about 3.2 million wrongs.

Rufus, the self-serving, juvenile, obnoxious-yet-lovable buffoon returns to Deponia Doomsday for another round of point'n'click pandemonium. He is joined by an extensive cast of quirky characters, dozens of new locations atop both Deponia and Elysium, plus his unique brand of unapologetic problem-solving. Want to save the planet(s)? Then you must make waste and recycle the Apocalypse!

Buy the game before April 14 to also get Gomo for FREE. Note that the game will not be added to your library right away but after the promo ends. Those who already own this whimsical puzzler are going to receive a gift code for the game and if for some reason that doesn't happen, you can always contact support for help.

Return to bring Deponia Doomsday before anyone else beats you to it, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 10% launch discount will last until April 14, 1:59 PM UTC

Deponia series promo
Prepare yourself for Doomsday! To celebrate Rufus' fourth coming, all previous three Deponia games are now 80% off as part of a special Deponia series promo that will last until April 14, 1:59 UTC.
I purchased it but I didn't received my free copy of Gomo -.-''
I'd have liked to see a nice fat loyalty discount (40%?) for people who already owned the first three.

Wishlisted for now, until I can get it cheaper. I've still got to finish 2 and 3 anyways.

Read the OP. :p
You'll get it once the sale ends.
And again with regional pricing. So no buy. Perhaps when it's 80% off or something like that.

PaterAlf: Nice release, but $33 is a very steep price when you take into consideration that they gave away Steam keys for the game for $10 on release day (it was included in one of Germany's biggest computer games magazine.
It is at moments like these that I remember Guybrush's most valuable lesson:

WHAT!? I thought the series had ended...

Haha, no harm done. The pointless delay is amusing.
Loved the first three games... will definitely be waiting for a sale or something for this one though!

Random_Coffee: Nice promo! I recently started playing the first Deponia. I'll definitely grab Deponia 2. Is the third game worth it as well?
Honestly, the ending of the first game gives you a better resolution for the story and the characters than any of the sequels, which just double down on its worst faults and get pretty nonsensical.
If you're obsessed with solving puzzles and given the dearth of challenging point and click adventure sagas, you might enjoy getting through this series, but a lot of stuff relating to character and plot will grate on you.

Nice, but why was it delayed for a while before coming out on GOG? Competition got it earlier. You really should improve on timely releases issue.

Considering the series just kept going downhill from #2 to #3, I'll pass on this one.

I actually try my best not to financially support the company because of how they managed those two.
Argh! SPOILER! GOG, next time would you mind thinking twice before posting a pitch like this?

Wishlisted for now, because it's too pricy at the moment and I already own and have played Gomo.

Huh, nice to know. I don't actually enjoy puzzle-solving that much, and I rarely finish the point-and-clicks I play because I get stuck and have no idea what to do. So far, the puzzles in Deponia has been easy (which is a good thing, I think), and the story is interesting. If the sequels are basically the result of milking the franchise, and just having tons of puzzles, then I think I'll just stick to the first Deponia.
Awesome! Glad this came to GOG...though uh. the price is a bit prohibitive for me at the moment.
(Also, I'm glad I powered through the third game before this released. My condolences to those who didn't. ._.)

IAmSinistar: Thank goodness there are no spoilers in this announcement for those who haven't finished the third game yet. ~_~
Phew, good thing I always check out a few comments before reading the actual announcement. Thanks for the heads up!
