of the creators shouldn't have a place in games or other media. If that would be true all kind of art would probably be very boring.

For the recordd, I haven't commented that all games should be messaging free thats unrealistic, All games have subtle or hidden messages. For example: fighting opression in COD WWII or the morality of actions in RPG games.

I'm merely stating that I don't find any particular interest in a title that headlines a very divisive subject that is currently manifesting itself in protests and demonstrations on the streets.

When I close my front door and logon I don't to be reminded of that which I left outside.

Global warming, overpopulation and scarcity of resources have been science fiction topics since it existed, what does politics have to do with it? Apart from the fact that everything about humanity is ultimately political, but I don't see anything outrageous in these arguments.

If it has a good plot and gameplay this game will surely be very interesting.

Not necessarily a bad thing for me to be honest. Too many games overstay their welcome and their experience is thusly ruined, I find. There's playing games to take a break from reality and then there's playing to avoid reality. :/


Also, to those still believing that politics have nothing to do with games, I'll repeat this: EVERY game is political, it's just that you reject those that present you with a different view than yours, this all.

Im dead serious. maybe you forgot blizzard adding all of their characters gay or transgender people and never made a straight man. or the fact that UWE, the guys that made subnautica didnt implement weapons because they said that because of the Sandy Hook shooting, they dont want to add weapons. SciFi presenting a united earth and warning about humans killing themselves because greed reflected i.e. in climate change is probably as old as SciFi itself. Don't blame the SciFi that the world started to catch up on the killing part...

The hole in the ozone layer was real and was addressed by banning fluorocarbons as a refrigerant; it's not that it was a false scare.

Acid rain was an unquestionably observable nasty problem worldwide, and was addressed by a large number of environmental laws that vastly cut down on the pollution that caused the acid rain. It's not that it was a false scare, it's that it was addressed and mostly solved.

And finally, who told you about an upcoming ice age, and what exactly did "they" say? Part of it was a warning that a nuclear war could trigger global cooling, and we avoided that by...guess what...remember that nuclear war? No? That's because we didn't have a nuclear war, so that issue was again avoided.

The other part of the warning about a possible ice age was never a consensus in the scientific community, it was something a small number of scientists were worried about, and published their concerns -- are you against free speech? And then magazines like Time and other news outlets picked up the alarming story and put it on their front covers to scare people to increase sales -- a form of tabloid journalism.

If you believe every scare from tabloid journalism, then you've got all kinds of other problems besides just the above stuff.

Your talking points are all 100% pure propaganda pushed to further certain political agendas, that ignores and distorts everything about the objective reality of those subjects.

You yourself are not open to your ideas being challenged. Considering the worldwide scientific community cannot agree the base standards of which to measure global warming, not to mention it's root causes.

By your own actions you are acting like a a devout puritan and projecting your intollerance of alternate opinions onto others and demanding their blind obiedience.

Additionall, I don't believe one single scare story fron any of the media outlets as they're only made to influence public opinion and you appear to have fallen for it hook line and sinker.

I'll keep an open mind until there is empirical data which is ratified by an agreed set of standards that aren't discarded when it doesn't fit the narriative. If members from the scientific community continue to disagree, you know there's an error in there somewhere.

I suggest you look at all three sides of the argument:- Pro global warming, Flawed global warming and the truth.

Somewhere they converge. Neither side is totally correct.

Here is what I dont agree with, is that climate change is caused by us. This, we all know, is wrong. years ago, a group of scientists drilled through the antarctic ice, discovered that the Earth was warmer 100,000 years ago. that right there is proof that the earth goes through these cycles of cold and warm times throughout earth's past. and it is caused by the sun and volcanoes. What you just described there, is scare tactics by the elites. and it all started with Al Gore. he made a rigged system where you give money to the government in exchange for the amount of carbon you emit. or you have to plant a tree. its all a scam and it goes right into the elite's pockets.
