Dohi64: oftentimes buying the base game and the upgrade/dlc/whatever separately works out cheaper on gog than the all-in-one editions, as weird as it is. and other oftentimes it's cheaper to re-buy the base game with the dlc in one pack than buying only the dlc for your base game, which is ridiculous.
And there are even situations (like mine) where you can get stuck between these two states:
I have a game bought and the first Expansion to it. But buying a second Expansion is simply not profitable, because it is nowhere to be sold cheaper than with a 40% discount. And the Definitive version of the game (including the game itself and two add-ons) is available at a discount of 60% and as a result costs only a few dollars more than this second expansion alone.
As a result, it’s not profitable for me to buy this expansion at almost the price of Definitive version, but to give even more money for Definitive version, most of which I already have (base game + first expansion), is also not profitable for me.
As a result, all this disgrace ended in the fact that I did not begin to resolve this issue in favor of any of the options. I think such stupid sales strategies deserve exactly zero dollars zero cents and this cannot be encouraged with money.
