What possible harm can one crazy, mutant tentacle do?

Day of the Tentacle, the grand return of the grandest adventure of all, is now available for Windows and Mac, DRM-free on GOG.com.

A crazy mutant tentacle is on the loose, plotting to take over the world. How you ask? That's not important right now! We need to be thinking about how we are going to fix this. Super simply, by going back to yesterday!

Alongside Grim Fandango, Monkey Island, Sam & Max, and Full Throttle, Day of the Tentacle sits without question among the legendary golden-era adventures. Now, straight from the early '90s, Day of the Tentacle arrives in our dystopian future of 2016 — back for a blast from the past for those who missed it, and a shot of nostalgia for those who just miss it.

Day of the Tentacle Remastered is all the adventure you may remember with an optional layer of sweet improvements on top. You can mix and match between the unmistakably 1990s pixely art and a fresh high-res coat of paint, remastered audio, and an all new interface. There are extra goodies in the Remastered release as well, including in-game developer commentary and a concept-art browser. Should your hankering for past loves persist, you can still access the fully playable version of the original Maniac Mansion from within the game and learn what started this whole craziness.

Mess around with time, space, and radioactive sludge and go back to the Day of the Tentacle, DRM-free on GOG.com.
Nice release.
Uh? That is one strange release time o.O

I have an Alienware 18 Win 10, 16 GB RAM, Dual 765 NVIDEA vc and an i7-4700 cpu @ 2.4 GHz? All I get is "Not compatible"? Can't get the game?
Perfectly normal release time, actually. It's midnight on the day of release. Though it appears we cannot download it yet. I keep getting "server error".
I wasn't sure if I was just becoming delirious from the Insomnia Sale, but I guess this was really released in the dead of night. Neat!
I'm going to assume a "dun goof'd" on GOG's part. Hopefully the staff awake soon (nearly 7am in Poland, right?) and realize it.

No more 10% discount? On double fine's site it says 10% off during launch week.

"PC pre-orders are also available exclusively at GOG.com where the game will be sold DRM-free for $14.99 with exclusive wallpapers for those who purchase before launch, and with a 10% off launch discount for the first week."
Seems my fear of the remastered version having technical issues was unfounded currently. Much thanks to all parties involved in making this release happen!

Making a beeline straight for that in game PC with Maniac Mansion on it! Hell yeah! :D

First week of the pre-order... not the first week of launch.
Two questions:

1. Why is the skull in the picture wearing a fez and smoking a spliff?

2. Can i play as the fat bloke in the T-shirt with long hair?

That sleepy sheep is guilty. :P
A separate thread for the release and no use of the pre-order one?

Dat consistency.
