Lady vengeance.

Darksiders III is now available DRM-free on GOG.com.

Taking over from her perpetually vexed brothers War and Death, the agile Fury now unleashes herself upon The Seven Deadly Sins, determined to whiplash some balance back into this wretched, post-apocalyptic world. Hack-n-slash action ensues, peppered with platforming antics and puzzles, all done in the stunning signature artstyle of the series.

Grab the Deluxe Edition which includes the game's Soundtrack, plus two DLC packs that add gameplay content (those will become available sometime after release).
Or go for the all-inclusive Blades & Whip Edition, which contains the whole trilogy in one pack to last you until the apocalypse.

jalister: That sounds reasonable. I've just never seen that happen here before. I'm for keeping the trolls away.

MarkoH01: If enough people report a certain post as "spam" it will be auto deleted.

tinyE: Far out, I have #1 already installed.

Getting my ass kicked.

Are these games easier with a pad or a mouse?
avatar
MarkoH01: It just takes a bit practice. If I could manage to finish DS1 and 2 you can too. EVERYBODY can beat a game if I am able to do it - I am THAT bad :)
Doing better with the mouse AND keeping the strike button held down rather that mashing it as fast as I can.

Anothername: War, Hunger, Death and Disease... and Fury! err.. It looks nice though & will probably get it when my backlog is a tad less overloaded :)
Wasn't it pestilence? Who wants to play as pestilence?

No kidding, especially since I get to play as that IRL.

tinyE: I have to thank all the attention, bad and good, for opening my eyes to this series. If nothing else they are BEAUTIFUL games.
Imo they also have a pretty interesting story.

Good to know. Thanks.

You're welcome.
But keep in mind that this also has a downside. If people are posting hatespeech or worsse things (whatever that would be) you would not want those to just be deleted but also the user that posted those to be banned. To make sutre this can happen you'd need proof so in such cases I strongly recommen to do a screenshot and send it to GOG before reporting it so they would still be able to check it.

At all: Sory for off topic. Already finished.

I think its a shared workspace between these two. "OMG its the four horsemen; War, Hunger, Death and... Hey, who are you?" "Pestilence, Disease called in sick today"

Hey, maybe that is whats up with War & Fury :D

Point_Man: Ya i have the original Darksiders 1 on GOG, but i'm not sure if that was because i already owned it before the remastered version came here or not. So i'm not sure if new purchases of the Warmastered version get the original included. I was just asking about it for others, if it turned out that it's not included in new purchases. The store page doesn't seem to advertise the original version so i'm not sure.
avatar
Grargar: Storepage mentions it, but it's such a tiny line of text that makes it easy to miss it.
Wow, i definitely missed that. Usually if another game is included it's listed somewhere above not in that tiny fine print. Thanks for pointing that out.
Impressive trailer, congratz!

ThomNG: Wohooo finally out! Enjoy!
Thank you very much for releasing it here on day 1, really looking forward to playing this (just installed it :-) ). I am however dismayed to find out that the soundtrack turns out to only be available in MP3 format. Would it be possible for you to add a lossless version (preferably FLAC) of it?

ChrisSZ: Main criticism by rockpapershotgun, summarized by the user Lifthrasil in the pre-order thread:

"So it's unbalanced, jumping in difficulty. (that was annoying in Darksiders 2, already, and reads worse here)
Plus badly placed checkpoints. (one of the mortal sins of game design)
Minus free saving. (another mortal sin)

Plus lots of crashes (according to Polygon) "

Yeah, that's a near-deal-breaker for me... death to anti-manual save features, especially with crappy checkpoints! I'll wait for a deep sale though...
It seems my reply from yesterday did not work, or was censored.

All 3 games only have mp3 soundtrack. It would be nice to also have a lossless version, flac preferred.
Played the game, and it feels hastily slapped together at best. There's a little bit of story at the beginning and then you're thrown into the world only to find the first boss about 5 minutes in. The world looks... bad. It's poorly designed (at least early on) and feels like a cheap knock off of a better game. Vehicles don't suffer any damage from your pounding on them, and enemies are often cheap attacking from off screen with a too-tight camera. This is from playing the game for approximately 1 hour. Glad I didn't get to two. *REFUNDED*
I wonder why would the game release at full AAA price if apparently the devs bragged about making it on a lower budget? Seems a bit dishonest and cash grabby, especially considering that flaws are showing.
