Sins of the father

D: The Game, a psychological horror adventure through dark family secrets, is available now for Windows, Mac, and Linux, DRM-free on GOG.com.

The halls of a big Los Angeles hospital are riddled with dead bodies, the gruesome work of a mass murderer. Several other innocent people have been taken hostages by the madman, who has barricaded himself inside. When Laura Harris, a scholar in San Francisco, finds out, she rushes to the hospital to investigate. Why? The man responsible for the bloodbath is the well-respected supervisor of the hospital and also her father.
Time is not on Laura's side, however, as she only has two hours to navigate the shifting realities of the hospital, overcome the challenges in her path, and try to solve the most sinister puzzle of all: the reason why her quiet father turned into this bloodthirsty monster.

Explore a hospital drenched in blood and discover the dark forces that guide your father's killing hand in D: The Game, DRM-free on GOG.com.
HOLY SHIT! NIGHT DIVE YOU ROCK!
Is Enemy Zero coming next? :D. Still have its retail copy, don't even know if it'll work on 7 (played fine on XP though)

IAmSinistar: So, how many other one-letter games out there? We've got here, and there's [url=https://www.gog.com/game/x_gold]X, and [url=http://www.mobygames.com/game/9-the-last-resort]9. Any others?
vvvvvv
What? It is still just one letter! :-P
I've heard interesting stuff about this series and it's wacky creator - so this is release is a nice surprise. Thanks again, Night Dive.

Still, I'm a bit put off from insta-buying this, due to the DOS version's interlacing. Maybe it isn't really that bad, but I wonder if there could also be a digital release of the PlayStation version (as a "PSone classic") on PSN? Because if that's the case, I would definitely buy it there.

HypersomniacLive: Do I understand it correctly that one has literally only 2hrs to get to the bottom of the mystery, and no save options to take a breath?
Sounds pretty stressing, if not outright brutal. Not enough to keep me away though, but will have to go on the wishlist for now.
It's actually quite easy. I took it quite slow and managed to finish it in 1h30 :)

That's encouraging! Perhaps it's more the thought of "I've only got 2hrs and no second chances!" in the back of one's mind that makes it feel like a potentially stressful experience. :-)

You could always use DOSBox SVN Daum and then you can utilize state-saving. I don't have too much time to play games these days, so this kind of thing is a lifesaver.

Well if GOG is releasing games that were also once on the 3do, PS1, and PC... Space Hulk Vengeance of the Blood Angels pretty please?
Here I hoped there was a Vampire Hunter D game I've missed...

Cheers, will check it out.
I always wanted to try D2, but it's too expensive on ebay.
Good to see this here.
The game looks pretty interesting, I'll have to pick it up once I get some time in a couple of weeks.
Soooo when's Enemy Zero gonna get that treatment. Come on now, I can't live forever.
