tfishell: The game is now 3rd bestselling GOG game of all time according to the sorting option. No idea if that includes physical keys or whatever, but that's pretty impressive/neat to me. I assume it'll reach #1 in the near future.

midrand: I just find that order hard to believe with Witcher 2 and Witcher 1 ranking ahead of Witcher 3 in terms of sales. I would have thought Witcher 3 would be tops out of the series?
You have to add the sales of the Witcher 3 base game and the Witcher 3 GOTY edition. I'm sure that combined it would be on #1.
This game sure attracts lots of spoiled brat to GOG. Just look how fun it is at the review page. Hahaha

B1tF1ghter: It's sad there is no Linux port on day 1.

Also, no Vulkan? Not even DX 11? Well that sucks :/
Well, the game is available on Stadia, that officially is DEBIAN/LINUX & VULKAN.

I bet the stadia port was subsidized entirely by Google and CDProjekt Red didn't spend any cent on it...

Or is not a port at all and is just the windows version running on Debian via compatibility layer.
After watching a couple streams for only a few minutes each and seeing bugs in EACH stream... I'm definitely gonna wait before buying this.
Nice to see this one rolling off the line--it's certainly been hotly anticipated by RPG enthusiasts. Hopefully it lives up to the high expectations!

I watched a stream (Spiff) for a bit. I missed the NPCs that were smoking invisible cigarettes, but I did see Jackie walking straight through a car. And when looking at a bum, the context menu for a nearby cat showed up as the bum apparently can't be interacted with. I also found it disappointing that various NPCs that Spiff tried to kill couldn't be shot. The game just didn't allow it.

The framerate of the stream was choppy (though it ran fine on Spiffs own computer, but streaming is a problem somehow), and that wasn't due to the hardware of the streamer. Spiff had lowered the grapical settings to make it somewhat bearable, and.. it looked like potato mode. Honestly, some 20+ year old games look better in some regards because the lighting was completely flat. And as my PC isn't even close to the recommended specs, I probably better upgrade first.

Some aspects look interesting though, but I'll wait for some patches. Maybe CDPR didn't delay the game enough..

I mean, Witcher 3 is right below Witcher 1 and 2, and has yet to be discounted as deeply as the other two have been. It could be what B1tF1ghter is talking about though.
Too many bugs. Gonna wait before picking this up.

The Steam forums is one long list of bug reports...

GeraltOfRivia_PL: Has anyone finished the game yet?
It's only been out for an hour, at the time of your posting. No one is going to finish it that quickly. Speedruns will actually take more time, as the speedrunners need to develop techniques to zip through the game as fast as they can.
Has anyone downloaded the offline installers or seen people playing the console versions?

skhitzo: started updating then stopped. Now won't move. Stayed up late for this.
If there was a retail disc for the PC it wouldn't have been a problem.
Update failing since couple of days now oO ... no chance to play it any time soon I guess...
Now #2 on Bestselling (All Time) list, just behind Heroes of M&M 3 Complete
CD Projekt Red needs to update everything and all reviews need to be updated to reflect the current status of the game. It will end up taking circa 150 GB if not within the first week, then for sure within the first month. Those dumb reviews before the game's release are meaningless, because they reflect a build that is at least one month old, festering with game-breaking bugs. It is up to you to make the game run great on an i7 3770k and a GTX 1070, then I will buy it, because I want to support CD Projekt Red and GOG (I am mostly buying older games on GOG, rather than newer games on Steam, Origin, Ubisoft Store or EGS), but I don't want my first time playing the game to be marred by game-breaking bugs.
Best of luck to everyone and full congrats to CD Projekt Red whenever they 'Polish' the game to an acceptable level!
