Aaaaand... snatched. I'll make sure to revisit this world as soon as I can.
DLC for 6 years old games? and also finally proper discount for 50% off, I mean CrossCode has always been discounted for 10% off every sales for many many years and never goes higher than 10% discount off despite CrossCode has already released at 2015.

I was going to say it couldn't be that long ago, and while the game page claims it was the changelog shows 1.0 as being on September 20, 2018 (and it wasn't quite finished then; they also mention it having been in development for 7 years, so I guess 2015 was the start of early access). They kept working on the main game for another couple of years after that, although it sounds like they mostly were working on the DLC starting a year ago.

Puchased instantly, although I see the version number is currently 1.4.0-5-beta, so I'll wait a bit before playing again (not hard since I'm currently hooked by Cyber Hook). I think they haven't had as heavily discounted sales before because there is a huge amount of content for the price (over 100 hours in the 1.0 game for me). Now they essentially charge the 10% off price with DLC, figuring those of us who already played it won't mind paying a bit more.

I have some complaints but overall I'd put it on a fairly short "best ever" list.

Sorry for my previous comment, GOG page stated that official release date is June 2015 (which is early access released) dafuq? When I've researched actual release date is September 2018 and 1st of all Early Access release should never used as Official release date. 100+ hours? I would happily paid for 15 bucks due to plenty amount of content despite it's couple years old but I purchase now anyway because it's best deal so far!

This game has been Beta for 3 years? I'm fan of indies and really hate early access because some of games has been stuck early access (alpha/beta phase) forever and never got actual release plus. If I have to choose between two of them there one really evil is AAA and another one lesser is Early Access but guess what? I rather not choosing at all because lesser evil is still evil!

The sign of a very successful game, same reason the Call of Duty series rarely gets good sales.
Got it + the base game.

I am listening to the soundtrack (both original + the new EX one) on Tidal, it's really good. I might chip in and buy them down the road - currently happy streaming it.

The game reminds me of Secret of Mana (my fav SNES game) and it feels nostalgic playing this. I've so far spent 20 minutes on it, though haha.

Runs well on Linux btw, either native or through wine.

Wow, it's been six years already!?

Will be snagging the DLC later as I pretty much abused my wallet too much this month!
The devs should add Achievements to the GOG version of this game, just like the Steam version has had for years. Then people like me might actually buy it. Otherwise, we will continue never to do so.

I'm pretty sure the base game has been 50% off a couple of times this past year. Note that they don't use language like "highest discount" etc, which they tend to do on special sales like this one when the discount is indeed the highest to date.

It already has achievements built in. Demanding GOG-specific achievements is frankly absurd.

No, it wasn't called beta until this update with the DLC and was very solid even the 1.0 release that I played. However, it wasn't complete and while I gave them a bit of a pass for having so much quality content, I really wish they would have finished the last in game quests before release (post-game and arena could have been left for later). It is possible they just didn't update the release number after finding the DLC beta solid enough to release, but personally I'd rather just wait a bit since I'm not in any rush to play it again.

And yeah, GOG's release dates can be confusing. I think I've seen cases on older games where it doesn't seem to correspond with anything in particular that I can tell, but I would expect recent games that were released here day 1 to have a correct date, although with early access it is necessarily confusing to give one date without clarifying what it refers to. It does look like the date given is the early access date but I don't remember if it was available on GOG as early access.
Whats going on with the offline installers here?
On release, it was 1.4.0-5-beta.
On wednesday it was replaced with 1.4.0.3
And now it has been replaced with 1.4.0.2?
