Just a warning to those interested in the Japanese audio, it says it has Japanese audio but the game is not dubbed, it's just text even if you play it in Japanese. The Japanese audio must be some sparse word or cutscene.

Buying this at 5am local. How appropriate!

I will also cast my hope that the rest of the episodes get developed in a timely manner.

It's the only game in the Corpse Party series without the achievements, strange, XSEED had never disappointed before.

Something must have gone wrong. Steam has achievs. I don't really care tbh. I bought it here.

Maybe Xseed is trying to snub GOG for rejecting Wizardry.

I just wonder if there will be a discount for the bundle of the whole series of corpse party. XD

I read somewhere that corpse party blood covered fear repeat for the psp, which was released in 2011, is the only game, which is strongly recommended to play, as it has complete story, greatest CVs, and wonderful art.
How about the other games in this series, comparing to the first game for PSP?

The 3DS version of Blood Covered Repeated Fear is the definitive version - has a little more content than the PSP one - 2nd content wise is PC - Blood Covered... though you don't get the professional VAs and art that 5pb contributed.. then the PSP

At least I think that's pretty much it if I recall correctly

I don't own a 3ds, and thus it's impossible to play that version.
BTW, is the original game on gog (https://www.gog.com/game/corpse_party) the second choice you talked about?

Yep

Corpse Party, released in Japan as Corpse Party: BloodCovered (コープスパーティー BloodCovered (ブラッドカバー) Kōpusu Pātī BuraddoKabā?), is a part of the Corpse Party survival horror adventure game series created by Team GrisGris for the PC. It was released in Japan from March 2008 to July 2011. It was localized by XSEED Games under the title Corpse Party and distributed by GOG, Steam, and The Humble Store. It is known under the abbreviation BC in Japan. This game has inspired a manga, drama CDs, and original soundtracks.

While it is mainly a port of the mobile version, Corpse Party: NewChapter, it is also a remake of the original CORPSE-PARTY for the NEC PC-9801. Several changes were made from the mobile version, such as enhanced graphics, larger maps, full character art, and voice acting. This game was also remade for the PlayStation Portable and iOS under the title Corpse Party, which was later ported to the Nintendo 3DS under the same name.
