I'm clicking on sunshine, wooo-ooooh!

CHUCHEL is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.
Ohh, what's that? Quick, let's click on it! Coming from the creators of Samorost and Botanicula, it's bound to unleash a pandemonium of zanny animations, wacky sound effects, and whimsical delights upon us. Just poke at everything that moves or looks like it might, while helping the perpetually aggravated Chuchel obtain one very elusive cherry. He really REALLY wants it.

By the way, do yourselves a favor and grab the Cherry Edition, which contains the game and the Soundtrack + Artbook pack. You'll thank us later.


In the press:

-Destructoid declares that CHUCHEL is a quirky, funny, brilliantly paced adventure game that had them smiling every step of the way.

-John Walker had oodles of fun chasing after that cherry, as evidenced by his glowing review over at RockPaperShotgun.

Hmmm ... could this be a solid game experience for a 6-year old children? So that they learn using the mouse etc.

Or if you would like to support Amanita Design especially, have a look at chuchel.net, where you can get the Cherry Edition for 15 USD, and the base game for 10.
But of course, support GOG as well, or maybe buy here and a copy on Steam when on sale later. ;)

Quick, let's click on it!

Yes, I did it. Of course.
I waited impatiently for a long time.
Now Chuchel is installed already.

And then I noticed that there is that Cherry Edition for €14.99 - while I paid € 16.98 for the game plus the extras.
I was too quick.
Oh well....
The same happened to me when I was too eager to get Samorost 3. I should have learnt from that.

Luckily there are the patient support-GOGers who will help to get €2 back, and then I can at last play Chuchel.

Thank you Amanita for another cheerful game.

Yeah, shouldn't the extras and alternative editions be listed on the game page?

Anyway, I'm very tempted to get it at full price, despite the Botanicula incident. I assume it's rather short though?

Yes, you can rush trough in 1,5-2 hours.
But that doesn't matter. What matters most is the experience as you play trough :)

Yes of course, the different editions have their own game card - but I didn't see that. I was too hyped to meet Chuchel. LOL

Amanita certainly knows how to make games with some serious "make-my-day/make-me-happy" qualities; hats off to you guys! :)
