Get ready for this Lovecraft-inspired adventure; straight from 16 BIT NIGHTS, Chromosome Evil is coming to GOG with a -20% launch discount! The offer ends on January 12, 2 PM UTC. That’s not all though – it’s coming along with free DLCs: New Weapon & Weapons Customization and Cheat Trainer!

Chromosome Evil is an atmospheric real-time strategy horror game. As a player, you have to assemble your team using different classes, skills, weaponry; the choice is yours to make, as the chosen squad will try to survive the absolute onslaught of nightmares that are inevitably coming your way.
Chromosome Evil - New Weapon & Weapons Customization introduces new weapon customization interface, new armor upgrade system, new balance, new weapon (a flame thrower!), ability to change weapons and visible stats. Chromosome Evil - Cheat Trainer on the other hand, allows you cheat mode options such as morale option, Aggro option, resources, characters level up, instant heal, and more! Both of those DLCs you can get for free!

It's currently on sale on Steam (for like 3 more hours in their sale) at a lower prince. Maybe I'm interested, but I don't feel like getting shafted for buying here.

Is the Map Editor DLC included 'as part of' the GoG release? (otherwise as others said - it is available with discount in Steam)

The game looks interesting. It looks like a better Breach & Clear: DEADline Rebirth.

Would like to know why only male...beside lazy dev and lack of money...
Maybe a story thing...
It's 2023...I want choice and customization...or give me a good reason for bare-bone characters.

The reason is: these are the last human (men, if you want) on Earth. Last defense and living population of a dying world. No female is alive here. And then comes the demons and other bad things.

So many new games being inspired by Lovecraft's work. Looks interesting!

But It's really interesting to consider that we still have many good old games inspired also by Tolkien's work that are not yet here.

No the developer is selling the Map Editor DLC, I just don't see it here on GOG.
