SCAgent: I have played the majority of old-school FPS classics, but never this one, does it still hold up? Its a bit pricey for my liking but at the same time I would love to support the devs by bringing the game back regardless of its quality
Would be an insta-buy at 10$
Definitely does, it reminds Quake very much and has interesting boss battles.
And is quite short + body damage is worth it.
I remember being told that 6 bucks was too pricey for the first Doom. Good times.

If you don't have any emotional attachment to it (or any fond memories of playing it), just wait for a sale... unfortunately for my wallet, I do.
Does General Arcade typically port/remaster games like Nightdive?
It seems to me, that in level 4 are many invisible walls which can be hitted by rocket or which can be used for hide. Hope, that it will be fixed, but generally I have positive opinion about this port.
After skimming over this thread, I figured it'd be $9.99. Then I checked the store page and my eyes nearly popped out of my skull...

I remember this getting super average reviews back in the day (maybe the Eastern European devs didn't bribe the gaming rags with enough Doritos and MTN Dew), so I'm a bit surprised there's some genuine hype surrounding this release.
high rated
Yeah, a BIT pricey for a re-release (still remastered and original version as bonus...), but the publisher invested money, to get the game from german index ahead of time. That SHOULD be awarded, as most publishers do not care about us germans in that point. So... bought.

Now PLEASE bring "Vivisector - The Beast within". PLEASE... :)

Hear, hear :)
for me it appears at $6.31
Wishlisted since the "coming soon"-news a couple months ago, never heard of the game before. Will buy at another time, the price is a bit too steep.
And I JUST bought a physical copy of this game because I was CERTAIN it was never coming to digital stores

Regional pricing. The worldwide (a.k.a. US or non-regionally-priced) price is $17.99 (discounted from $19.99).

There's no reason to assume the price will change for you. The 65% regional discount relative to the worldwide price is the normal regional pricing for South America and applies to thousands of GOG games.

Well it is an INSTANT NOT BUY for me, and I love the game.

I would maybe have stretched to $14 AUD, only because it has the original version included, but $26 AUD is way outside of a fair price. Clearly the pricing is based on what they think they can get away with.

I guess I will now have to wait a couple of years ... very disappointing.

An old game is an old game, even when you revamp it. So it should start off at an appropriate price, then of course we naturally pay a bit more for the revamp work. But no way is revamp work the same as creating a game, and the price should reflect that.
