You know the thing about chaos? It's fair.

Chaos Reborn, a tactical strategy/RPG of magical battles, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com for Windows, Mac and Linux with a 50% launch discount.

Magical warfare is as much a battle of wits as it is of well-honed skill and pure cosmic happenstance. Sweeping waves of fire, ground-shattering earthquakes or gigantic sapphire dragons may not suggest strong elements of strategic thinking at first glance. Learning how and whether to use each spell, though, that's what distinguishes a respectable spellcaster from a sideshow trickster.

The Realms of Chaos are in constant turmoil and this is your opportunity to outsmart your magic-wielding opponents, both in multiplayer and single-player scenarios. The turn-based combat and the bluffing mechanics call for careful positioning and shrewd misdirection akin to a game of chess or even poker. Βut no matter how well you prepare, be sure to always stay on your toes as the gear customization options and the chances of spell misfires will pose chaotic challenges, resulting in an intense cocktail of mentally engaging fun.

In the press
"Chaos Reborn is quite simply the best strategy game on PC this year" -- Kotaku

“Chaos Reborn is already a brilliant update of an absolute classic.” -- Eurogamer

Utilise your arcane bluffing skills to spread deliberate Chaos Reborn, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 50% launch discount will last until December 30 1:59 PM GMT.
Oh, nice to see this here, and fairly priced to boot, good!

Not my kind of game but I've seen a couple videos of it and it has some interesting twists. I hope it works because those multiplayer indie games rarely work. By the way, how does the multiplayer work here exactly?
Ah, the game from the former X-COM dev arrives to gog.
Never heard of this before, but looks interesting.
I been waiting for this after reminiscing over the original Chaos. I've just bought it as an early xmas present to myself. I hope it has the same feel as the original.
Why 50% off? I'm guessing this released earlier this year, what kept it from coming out day one?

Looks fun.
Awalterj is going to be happy.
My curse was particularly fast this time.
Only 15 minutes between me buying this on Steam and GOG release.
How does the MP matchmaking work? Does it go through Galaxy? Will I be able to play with Steam users?

Oooh, that's interesting. VERY interesting.
How's the single player campaign? Last time I checked (pre-release info found all over the web), multiplayer was the meat of the game?

If I refund it on Steam, who knows what will happen to GOG version. ;-)

Anyone know anything about current status of Magic & Mayhem?

ShadowWulfe: Why 50% off?
I'm guessing because it's currently -50% on Steam.

They released the singleplayer campaign today. I guess this is why gog released the game now since it didn't have full singleplayer before.

Great release! But as a backer I'm waiting for promised instructions how to get GOG version instead of Steam :D
