I thought this looks like a poor man's Mad Max at first, but then it hit me... the real Mad Max goes regularly on sale for 4.99 (right now 1,99€ on steam LOL)!

Holy shit! This thing is 20.00€, looks bad (half baked textures in a desperate need of polish) and doesn't even have combat! Have the developers lost their minds?!

Also the game is missing an indie tag.

Dang, should have waited a little longer: I played it on the PS5 last week.

It's a cosy game, so anyone who wants tight/variied game mechanics, will be disappointed. You basically drive a around with your car, walk around by yourself, collect stuff, do some very, very, very light switch puzzles and talk a lot to people. There are some neat Sci-Fi-Concepts hidden in there, that I did not expect. But it does not explore these concepts deeply. The "metroidvania"-tag may be a bit missleading, as the car gets some upgrades while progressing in the story, which open up some pathways, but it is in no way comparable to the mechanics in Metroid/Zelda/later Castlevania games.

I am a sucker for story-focused games so I'ill give it 4/5 stars. Mainly not 5 because, it gets a litle tedious in the last two chapters.

Oh and if you are an Anti-Woke-snowflake, don't buy that game. There is some queer/pride/lgbtq++/whatever flag somewhere in the game (I suppose) and there is a same sex relationship in there. So if your are offended by that, better not buy it.

Just feels right to ask, when a caravan type game chimes in.

The art style really isn't my thing but I wishlisted anyway because that song in the trailer by Antynomy is really nice. I'll have to listen to some of their other music.
