This little light of thine, you gotta let it shine.

Candleman: The Complete Journey is now available DRM-free, 30% off until October 23rd 4pm UTC.

Be the persistent flicker in the darkness as you search for the light that never goes out. Overcome tricky challenges and explore wonderful but treacherous places in this lovely puzzle/platformer where your humble 10-second flame is the only thing keeping the darkness at bay.

Zoidberg: GOG, you need to BRING back the FRIGGIN NEWS up to the TOP of the page!

MarkoH01: The design simply is pro business and anti consumer. You will have to scroll through all those offers to find the news. They probably hope that you will see something you like while doing so and buy it. Still a bad idea imo.
Very bad. Maybe I'll just avoid the store altogether then...
game looks sweet and relaxing tho the slowness of candlemans run may prove irritating. i may be interested if it has plenty of save points to lessen annoyance on deaths

i_hope_you_rot: And where's the Mac version ?
There are bug issues we couldn't fix for the Mac version.

Do you prefer to play on Mac instead of Windows?

XYCat: What happens if you say "Candleman" five times in front of a mirror? Also, is "Candleman" enough, or do you have to say "Candleman: The Complete Journey" five times in front of the mirror for it to work?

My guess is that it summons Candleman who then gives you a GOG key for Candleman: The Complete Journey while awesome Philip Glass music plays in the background. But it may be just a scary urban tale.

Candleman: The Complete Journey

Candleman: The Complete Journey

Candleman: The Complete Journey

Candleman: The Complete Journey

Candleman: The Complete Journey

(it was in front of a mirror app on my phone, trust me, Mr. Candleman)
It's so mysterious. I'm too scary to try that. : )

pacciulli: Look out, here comes Candleman.

Oh, wait...
Do you like the sense of sarcasm in it? That's one of the main reasons we chose this name. : )

What is the "complete journey" btw? The game is called "Candleman" according to the trailer. I cannot see any additional DLCs so far that are supposed to make this "complete"?

Lemon_Curry: How come you mention this, GOG?

If it's merely due to the cloud saves, then surely it goes without saying (as with most, if not all, of your other games) that one would need an internet connection.
avatar
MarkoH01: Good find ... very strange they listed it. And it being a minimium REQUIREMENT would mean that without internet connection you won't be able to play. Hope it's just a mistake.
When Candleman was out initially, there was 9 chapters. Candleman: The Complete Journey add another 3 chapters to make the story complete.

The slow pace and serene ambience help creating a story book experience. When you are tired of the slow process, take a rest, maybe give another go sometime later.

The journey is part of the adventure. : )

R0B0LUT10N: It's backward that the first thing I do on Galaxy is scroll all the way to the bottom to see what I am most interested in: the latest news.
Yup, its awful. news is new and should be on top, but noooo its at the bottom....which doesnt show cause the script doesn scale well when using 100% ( default setting in ff) , i have to decrease it to 90% to see the now on sale
and the news , two of the most important items simply do not show because of a either bad use of media queries or the lack of it...... or use of scripting in a buggy way....

I fear it will not be fixed because they are not aware of the problem....

check attachment: now_on_sale100%.jpg
and news_100%.jpg

at 90% it shows, but at 90% forum fonts get even smaller then they already are at 100% , and harder to read
so i have to set % to 100 when i visit the forum and to 90% when i visit the store pages

I assume this will be fixed ? internet has 100000000s of tuts on how to properly scale a website so anyone at any browser size or device can read it properly. :D

already discussed this in another topic but its probably not read by GOG team ....

no need to manually scroll , there are ways to click on a link and autoscroll to the part that needs to be displayed
how its done i dont know :D then again i am not a web developer :D its up to the team to handle that :D

Anyway the current layout is still : user unfriendly , has to much script...,uses too many ( unoptimised) images...
annoying zoom effects on images (which add nothing to functionality only makes your eyes sore after watching it for a extended period of time while browsing the site.)

and probably at least a dozen other annoying parts of the layout that still needs to be solved to make it at least 99% user friendly.

This looks awesome.

However, that "only 10 seconds burn time" could be something, I don't like/enjoy.
Will have to read some reviews to see how that time constraint actually affects the game(play).

On the wishlist it goes.
oh btw nice new game, but since its 3d and platform .... i have to pass
as for the i3 and i7 i see lately:

if nothing is added i assume any i3 and any i7 will do ?
cause as you know i3 = now quad core instead of double core, :D things have changed :D

Just for your information. It's not just a scaling problem. It also seems to depend on the FF version you are using and/or installed add-ons. I am using FF ESR 52.9 and I can see everything fine at standard 100% (if you want I could add a screenshot at well). I am just telling you so that you know there is more to the issue - still it should not happen at all of course.

Hey devs. Welcome to GOG - always nice (and unfortunately much too rare) to see devs posting on the GOG forum. It also usually pushes me in the direction to buy those games :)

There is only one thing left to ask for me before I will finally push that "buy" button. The requirements listed on the gamepage also show a broadband connection. So does this mean that you are unbable to play or install the game if you don't have any internet connection?
