Dum vivimus, vivamus

Caesar™ IV, a pinnacle of city-building strategies set in ancient times, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Rome wasn't built in a day, you know, and neither were the Roman aqueducts which are still subjects of study and praise by many a scholar. The same is true for the majestic structures they left behind, which still stand proud all across Europe. Want to know how they managed to erect these marvels of the ancient world? Assume control of the economy, planning, building, and managment of Roman settlements in challenging scenarios set during the Kingdom, Republic, and Empire eras, and watch your humble village grow to become a sprawling ancient metropolis. Even back then, people were very concerned with public services, hygiene, spectacles, and overall quality of life, so it's up to you to balance the complex needs of your citizens with the realities of city management, if you want to be remembered more as a Marcus Aurelius and less as a Nero.

Plan, build, and sustain a Roman metropolis that could stand the test of time in Caesar™ IV, DRM-free on GOG.com.
Whoa, i've been waiting for this one! Thanks, GOG!:)

NuffCatnip: What I meant when I mentioned Nero was that I'm not that much of a fan of city building games. :)
;-) I had briefly considered you meant you were into lyrics : http://www.romae-vitam.com/images/Quo-Vadis-Nero.jpg

blotunga: Now we need Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom and we're all good.
Emperor and SWAT 4+expansion are the two most important Activision releases in my book.
Now that we had some RPG, and some strategy, can we please have some BANG-BANG too? :)
So it is true. Activision is returning. Right? You wouldn't get my hopes up in vain, would you?!

Wow, another Activision release!

tinyE: This game would be a lot better if it was called "Postal Redux'. :P

Feel free to hit me.
That game is going to be getting so many updates according to them on Steam, and considering RWS' track record with updates on GOG... nope. Wouldn't buy it here myself.

It's pretty fun though. Blasted through it on Hard a few times, controls smooth as butter compared to the original.

Nice one!
Neat! I had this, but I couldn't be bothered to keep the CD in! A copy I don't need to shove a CD in for would be great!

According to database crawlers, yes, but they're not bringing the good stuff.
